I waited patiently after describing what happened to me and what I remembered of the night, our mother was about to tell us how Yuzus seal got broken. Not that I really understood any of it, I was still processing the shock of finding out she had powers and that I was technically dead, for a little while anyway.

"What happened was Yuzu.. was defending her true love, the one who shares in that love, I think it's the most beautiful thing that could ever have happened. That's the only power strong enough to break the seal I had on her." 'Wait.. she still.. loves me? Maybe I have a chance then.. I need her back!' I thought to myself while looking at Yuzu, I wanted so bad to hold her. "I can also only assume it was the power of that love that made it possible for you to be brought Mei, without that I don't think we could have gotten you back."

I sat up and grabbed Yuzus hand, "is it true Yuzu? Do you love me that much?" I asked. She looked at me with disbelief in her eyes, "Don't be stupid, Mei." I started to pull my hand away feeling hurt, I just looked down. 'Maybe I am too late,' I thought again. " She moves to the floor in front of me and grabbed my chin making me look at her, I didn't realize I was crying until she gently wiped my eyes, "Of course I do stupid, I always will. I'm not the one who left remember? I've been waiting for you this whole time. And I will wait forever I know but I still can't stop loving you, I love you so much it hurts." She let my face go, and I threw myself onto her, 'I missed the warmth she radiates,' I smiled and then pulled away, "wait what do you mean you'll be waiting forever?"

"You're getting married Mei, remember? And the fact we are sisters doesn't make it any better."

Our mother and father cut in, "well technically... you're not actually... related in any way." We both looked at them, "pardon me? Wanna run that by me again?" Yuzu questioned. "Yes I would like to know how that works as you two are married and we are your kids?" I added after. "That's how it works isn't it? Two people get married and their kids become step siblings?" Yuzu retorted.

They looked at each other and smirked. "We aren't actually married." My father jumped in, Yuzus mouth gaped open, "WHAT!!" She exclaimed. I sat there shaken by the news, 'so all along we haven't been related.. that makes this a little bit better with my news I have.' I smiled at my thought.

"Yeah well we had to find a way to get Mei to come live here and that was the simplest way, so, we got fake marriage papers." My father said enthusiastically. I looked to my step mother and stared at her waiting for her to speak. Yuzu looked baffled while she looked at her mother, Finally she opened her mouth, " I'm sorry to have lied to you both but again, I wanted to help your father. Mei you and your father needed help and I could see he genuinely just wanted you to be safe. I would have done the same for Yuzu."

The beamed at me, making me blush, "Now I can see that this was destiny, you two love each other deeply and that makes my heart warm." Yuzus shoulders slumped forward as she spoke, "Mamma you're forgetting one detail, Mei is engaged, that's why she left us, so she didn't have to be around me anymore." I could see tears forming in her eyes, spilling over down her cheeks, 'that makes my heart hurt..' I thought to myself.

"Yuzu," I placed my hand on her shoulder, and she turned her head away from me. Her action upset me, I felt myself forming tears of my own, I took a shaky breath and tried again, "Yu-Yuzu! L-Look at me!" She slowly turned to face me, shock written on her face and in her eyes at me yelling at her, or because I was crying. I didn't know which.

"Mei it's okay, I already know, you have your plans set to inherit the academy, don't worry about me, I'm just happy you're alive. You don't have to pretend to love me, I'll be okay." She started turning away from me, 'No! She needs to listen! I need her to know!' I did the only thing I could think of to get her to listen.

I pinned her to the floor and looked deep in her eyes, I tried to convey everything I felt, 'one way to let her know for sure.'

"Yuzu," I paused to make sure The was paying attention, "I.."
