Short time frame

So here I am updating, and I hope you like it, spelling errrors and such let me know, otherwise... let's get it going

I was listening to the three girls in my life, all of them looking shocked, when Ume said, "That's not possible" Now I'm really lost. "Hello? Someone wanna tell this old guy what's going on? I'm a little left out here." They all turned to look at me, staring until it was a little uncomfortable. "what do I have something on my face?" Ume seemed to shake herself and apologize, "sorry no, we just didn't realize that this was where her powers originate from. It's kind of hard to wrap my head around to be honest." I was still confused, "wrap your head around what?" I asked her.

It was my raven haired daughter who spoke, "it is hard to explain father, I don't really understand it myself, but if my assumption is correct, Yuzus power is a perfect combination of, well for lack of a better terminology, light and dark." She pauses for a moment before adding, "I also believe her powers are where moth- err.. Umes powers, the elemental ones, come from. It almost seems like each elemental power stems from either the light or dark side of what Yuzus are." I watched as Yuzu reached out silently for Mei's hand, and seemingly instinctual Mei grabbed the searching limb and entwined their fingers, Neither of them look to be focusing on the conversation anymore.

I watched as Yuzu physically became less tense and more focused on the conversation. Glancing back to Mei I watched as my daughter had the same reaction and I smiled at the two. 'They seek each other without even realizing it.' I thought to myself. Getting caught in my own thoughts I didn't realize Mei was speaking to me.

"I'm sorry, what did you say Mei, I kind of zoned out for a minute there." I said to her, waiting for her to repeat herself. Mei looked at me with a concerned expression, "father are you okay?" She asked me. I stood beside Ume just smiling and told her, "I am perfectly fine, I have my girls with me, and I know we can figure this out with time."

Little did I know low short that time would be.
