it was the the caption on the cheer squad, mackenzie ziegler. the most popular girl in the whole school. the only popular person i know of. i always looked up to her, wanting to have a perfect life like hers. a perfect family, a perfect reputation, a perfect appearance, a perfect, well, everything. she starts coming closer to us.
k: hey guys! all expect annie: hey! k: and who's this? she said nicely, smiling at me j: this is annie! annie, this is kenzie one of our friends! kenz, we invited ann's to come sit with us and hopefully she'll from now on do so! a: ann's? j: like the nickname? she smiled and i smiles back k: oo cool! now we have a balance between the boys and the girls! well, nice to meet ya annie! love your outfit! a: thank you, i love yours too! k: aw thanks! you're so sweet!
kenzie's pov:
annie...annie? when jayden said her name, it clicked but i didn't remember right away where i have heard that name before. oh! when lauren came to the table talking about a girl named annie who was in the bathroom crying and that whole situation happen...when hayden left when johnny said he was taken and she wasn't... it hurt and now i understand why johnny likes her and hayden probably does too, she's really pretty, like really pretty.

annies pov: i woke up, got ready and as i was finishing up, i got a facetime call from johnny so i answered it.

it was 7:18 and he was still in bed omg, i laughed at him as we began to talk.
"why are you still in bed silly?" i said as i giggled "we don't have to walk early to school anymore cupcake" "and why is that?" "you'll see, just be ready by 7:50. trust me, you'll love this" "oh jeez" i smiled through the call "by the way, you are coming to the football to see me play and being my date to the party, correct?" "mhm" "oh c'mon cupcake! be more enthusiastic! i am!" "okay okay! i'll go to cheer you on and maybeee go to that party" "please go! but rules are you gotta go alone and find people there, it's a masquerade party" "then how will you know i'm there?"
