hayden's pov:
and there she was, standing there, letting out the smoke from her mouth as it all went in the air. i didn't know what to say. i was disappointed and didn't even know who she was anymore. she was now completely different. i just left, not even getting what i was suppose to.
"hayden wait!"
i kept walking, i got half way up the stairs when i felt a hand on mine pulling me back. i looked and there she was.
"hayden..."
"what? you said to leave you alone and i'm finally going to take your word."
"hayden i can explain"
"explain what annie? hm? the fact that after all this time of pushing me away because of reasons that you don't even want to tell me and now that i've seen the true, true you, you want to explain?"
she just looked at me
"it's complicated and you won't understand..."
"i will ever understand until you tell me...for now, i'm done... i'm finally done... you hurt me. the person i never thought would, did. i thought you were different, i was there for you, i protected you, i cared for you...i loved you..."
"you loved me?"
"yea, its past tense now...it stopped being just 'love' because still after your change and pushing away i still loved you but now, i realized that all you do now is cause me pain"
she just looked at me and i continued
"i hope one day you come to realize that what you're doing, is ruining the best person. the person i loved. i'll never forget that annie that i knew to love"
and with that i left. without another word said. was i really done or was this just another beginning? i don't really know at this point. i left kenzie for annie and this is what happens? i guess if it meant to be it'll be.

lunch time. a time i always remembered that led to laughter and hugs, now it's a time where i'm trying to figure out a new type of joy to my life.
"so you talked to her?"
"yeah, why john?"
"what happened?"
i explained, frowning throughout it.
"so...we lost her?..."
"we lost her..."
and if you were wondering yes i did explain a week after his release of what went between annie and i. he understood and forgave me after my apology. he's slowly going back to his player stats but he is still the johnny that he was when annie was a big part of his life. but only to us.

i don't know what to do anymore and i'm confused. about literally everything.
"annie, take another one"
i did, then another hit and another...
i was stoned

i was high, the most i've ever been. and guest what? that led me to do some stupid stuff that i won't remember.

we literally spent the whole school day high and even a little after school.
you know the feelings of getting high? you don't? good. i'll tell you anyway.
(not promoting getting high, this is just my knowledge since most of my school does it so i know [no i don't do drugs lol])
that feeling of being relax, calm, not having a care of the world. my first time i panicked a lot since i wasn't able to control my emotions and actions very well. now, ehh.
"hey asher"

"take me to haydennns!"

[he wasn't that high, enough for him to know what he is doing]
he took me and dropped me off. why am i here? i don't know. i go up to the front door smelling like weed and knock. there he was, standing there and being all cute and shit. his brow curly hair with his bright beautiful hazel green eyes.
"annie?"
he was definitely home alone
"hayden let's talk"
"i don't think so"
"why?"
he leaned in, smelling my hoodie. he signed.
"you don't know what you're doing. you're high. let me take you back home"
"you're my home"
he looked at me.
"you're high"
"i amm buttt just like they say when people are drunk they say the truth. i'm high and i'm saying the truth"
"let me take you home"
"and i already said you are all i want. you're my safety, my home, my everything"
"then why don't you tell me why you are doing all of this? why?"
"i-i"
there was silence
"i'll get my keys..."
he did what he said and sat me in the passengers side. he turned on the car and started driving. throughout the whole ride, it was quiet until half way there, i spoke.
"i love you and never stopped"
i looked at him as he was still looking ahead, i continued.
"i'm sorry i hurt you, i'm sorry for leaving you with no explanation. i'm sorry."
i started crying.
"i'm sorry i did the one thing i promised not to do, hayden i'm sorry, i'm sorry..."
