I woke up the next morning to an empty bed. I sat up and scanned the room. Tal was no where to be seen. I got up, slipped on a pair of leggings and his shirt from the day before, and crept into the other rooms to see Tal in only his boxers making breakfast...or should I say "attempting" to make breakfast.
"Good Morning!" Tal says, smiling broadly at me.
"Good morning. What are you doing?"
"Making breakfast. I woke up like, 10, 15 minutes ago and got really hungry, so I decided to make us some breakfast."
"That's sweet, but do you even know what you're doing?"
"Sort of." He said, scrunching up his face. I walk over to him and start to squeeze past him, making scrambled eggs and pancakes as he watches me in awe.
"What?" I ask him, continuing to cook.
"How are you so good at cooking?"
"Lots of practice."
"This is stereotypical. The girl being the one who does all the cooking while the guy does nothing to help."
"Yes, it is. So, why don't you help me?"
"By doing what?"
"Getting some plates and utensils out, and then YOU can wash the dishes. I HATE washing the dishes."
"GREAT!" He shouts, rushing over the cupboard with the plates and the drawer with the utensils. He held the plates out for me as I loaded them with scrambled eggs and pancakes. I grabbed the syrup as he set down the plates on the make-shift bar.
"So, what do you want to do today..you know, after you finish the dishes?" I smirk slightly, knowing he won't enjoy me reminding him that he has to wash the dishes.
"How about we watch another movie and you can work on your book while I finish the dishes."
"I like your plan, but how about we also go to the store and buy some coloring books so we can color. I love to color. And maybe we can also get some books to read. If I could, I would read almost all the time."
"Why don't you just download those apps on your phone? I'd rather not leave the hotel today."
"Why?"
"Because I don't want to take too many chances on things."
"What things?"
"Of us being spotted by someone who works for Allison."
"Oh." I say, completely understanding what he now meant when he had said he hadn't wanted to go to the store and didn't want to risk anything or take any chances that someone who worked for Allison might actually spot us and return the information back to Allison, exposing our secret hide-out. I know...I think too much, but I have so much time on my hands....
"I'm gonna go do the dishes..are you done with that?"
"Yeah, just a second." I finish up the last of my breakfast, and hand my plate to Tal. I grab my notepad and my pen and start to write on the couch. I curl my knees up into my chest and rest the notepad on them. Then, I lean over slightly and rest my side against the back of the couch, just enough that it's comfortable, but also enough that I can still write.
I end up writing for four hours, Tal having done the dishes in the first hour, and watching YouTube/playing on his phone the last three. When I finish up my thoughts, I poke Tal with the pen. He takes his earbuds out and looks at me.
"What?" He questions.
"Are we still on for a movie?"
"Hell yeah!" He jumps up, putting in a new movie. I put my notepad and pen back where I had gotten them from that morning and sit back down on the couch, curling my legs underneath me and leaning my elbow on the arm of the couch. I rested my head against my left hand since my left arm was leaning on the edge. When he's finished putting in the movie, Tal sits back down normally; with his feet out in front of him, and his arms resting casually at his sides/ on the edge of the couch. We watch the movie in silence.
When the movie is over, I feel very drowsy and want to take a nap, so I scoot down a little more, resting my head on the arm of the couch, get comfortable, and fall asleep. Before I did though, I had looked over to see Tal asleep as well. It must mean that the movie was quite boring, or the fact we hadn't gotten much sleep the night before because of our..experience.
"Hello Eva." I heard a voice behind me say. I whirled around to see Allison standing in the doorway to the hotel.
"Allison? How did you find me?"
"I had some help." She smiles, gesturing to Tal who was now suddenly standing beside me. Tal walked over to Allison, smirking, and bent down to her height to give her a passionate kiss.
"Tal?" I say, my voice quaking.
"What? Did you seriously think I loved you? It was just a scam to get you to trust me so Allison could mess with you even more. She's good at that kind so stuff, isn't she?"
"Aww..thanks babe. I love you."
"I love you too." Tal says, kissing her again. All of a sudden, Allison and Tal are gone and I'm surrounded by darkness every where.
"Where am I?" I say aloud, my voice reverberating off of all the emptiness. I can see the actual sound waves as they come back to push me over. I scream, causing more vibrations to send through the darkness and come bouncing back towards me. I start to run away, but the sound waves catch me and develop me...
I bolt upright, holding my hand to my chest and looking around me. I can see Tal sleeping on the couch next to me, and everything else was in order. I take a breath of relief, laying back down and getting comfortable again. What did that dream mean? Why were the sound waves attacking me? I stayed up for another 5 minutes trying to decipher it's meaning, but ended up giving in to my drowsiness once again. I wished I knew what the dream meant...
To be continued....
A/N: Hey guys!! Sorry I always end chapters with them sleeping or watching a movie. I don't want to be too mean and leave you on a total cliff hanger. I know how much that sucks. I just want to say thank you and that I appreciate you, and you are all special. I love reading all your comments and find it to be one of the highlights of my week. It makes me feel better about my writing because I think my writing is terrible. I feel like I add too much detail here, and not enough detail here. It bothers me, especially when I read other people's stories on Watt Pad. They're all one hundred times better than any of mine...but nevertheless...THANK YOU!! LYASM!! BYESIES!!
