When we finally pulled into the park's parking lot and parked, it was already starting to get dark and everyone was leaving.
"I guess we'll get the park to ourselves." Tal said, stepping out of the car. I did the same as I answered.
"It'll be harder for people to spot and recognize us...that's a good thing!" I say, noticing his confused face. I left Alfredo in the car and started running around until I stopped and started rolling in the grass.
"What are you doing?" I heard Tal ask.
"FREEDOM!! FRESH AIR!!" I shouted, laughing. It was so nice to finally be outside and be able to talk as loud as I wanted and having a ton of space to run around in.
"Mind if I join you?" Tal says, laying down next to me on the ground.
"Don't lay down!! It's time to run!!" I say, jumping up and running around in circles. I loved the feel of the wind in my face so much that I pulled out my braid and let my hair down. It felt like heaven to have the crisp air flowing through my hair. I started laughing, running even faster and spreading my arms like I was a bird. I stopped, trying to find out where Tal was. I looked around until I could see that he was still in the same place he had been before, and he was watching me with lust filled eyes. I slowly walked over to him, placing my fingers lightly on his forearms. He put hands on my waist, pulling me closer to him.
"What?" I asked him, trying to search his eyes for anything other than lust, but finding nothing.
"You look amazing in that dress with your hair down, and you look so happy and alive." I felt myself blush a deep red and watched as Tal started smiling down at me.
"Stop." I whined, hating all the attention.
"Why? I can't stop looking at you. You are absolutely beautiful and I never want to lose you."
"I don't want to lose you either. I want to stay with you forever. You make me feel safe and loved, and I've never felt those things until now." I say, looking up at him.
"I didn't know what love was until now. I've never been with someone and actually loved them until now...with you." Instead of answering him, I pressed my lips against his, gripping his forearms a bit tighter so I wouldn't lose my balance. I felt his grip on my waist tighten, and I pressed against him, his hands staying firm on my hips. He deepened the kiss by slipping his tongue into my mouth. I was just about to put my arms around his neck when I heard a noise that sounded like footsteps. I pulled away and frantically looked around, wrapping my arms around Tal's torso and getting as close to him as I could.
"What?" He asks, looking down at me worriedly.
"I heard something." We both went silent, and when I heard the noise again, I could tell Tal heard it too because he pulled me as close as he could and wrapped his arms around me tightly, pressing me against him so there was no space between us.
"Tal.." I whispered, seeing a dark figure walking towards us a little ways away. It was coming from the trees. I pointed it out to him, and we sat there watching it, anxious to see what or who it was. When the figure finally got closer and stepped into the light, relief flooded me.
"Andy?" I said, squinting to tell if it really was him.
"Eva. Tal." I squeezed Tal tighter, realizing the look Andy gave him. It was a death glare that almost seemed to promise Tal that he was dead.
"How did you find us?" I asked, having a little bit of a hard time breathing. If he knew where we were, Allison might know too.
"What, did you not want to be found? I've been looking every where for you Eva. When you didn't come to school and neither did Tal, I got worried. I though he had hurt you."
