Bullied (A Tal Fishman Fanfiction)

Chapter 17

"Eva? EVA!" I open my eyes slightly to the sound of Tal's voice.
"What?"
"You were talking in your sleep."
"What was I saying? What time is it?"
"It's almost 3 o'clock."
"In the afternoon? Or in the morning?"
"Afternoon."
"When did you wake up?"
"About an hour ago."
"What have you been doing for an hour?" I sit up, anxious for his answer.
"Don't get weirded out, but I was watching you sleep, and I was listening to you talk in your sleep. You weren't saying anything in the beginning, but then you started saying my name and Allison's, and then you started screaming. I got scared and woke you up."

In the next few minutes, I explained my dream to Tal. He pulled me into a hug and started rubbing my back.
"I would never do that to you." He said, resting his chin lightly on my head.
"It's just, I'm scared that that WILL end up happening. That's all of my fears in one dream. Well, it's actually a nightmare."
"What are all of your fears?"
"Losing you, Allison finding me and getting what she wants, and of being in no control and being tourtured." I can feel my cheeks heat up, and I'm glad he's not actually looking at me.
"Eva....I never want you to have to go through any of those fears. You don't deserve it."
"Thank you." I whispered.
"So, what now?" Tal asks, continuing to rub my back.
"I don't know. What do you wanna do?"
"How about another game of truth or dare?" Tal asks, chuckeling lightly.
"Sure." I respond, chuckeling with him.
"You go first."
"Why? I went first last time. It's your turn."
"Fine. Truth or dare?
"Truth."
"Ok. Um....Does your ankle hurt?"
"No. I can't even feel it. In fact, it's been the right amount of time. The doctor said I can take it off by today."
"Really?"
"Yeah!" I stand up and pull the annoying boot off my foot, throwing it across the room and dancing around.
"FREEDOM!! FREEDOM!! YAY!!" I shout, making Tal burst out into laughter.  I start to laugh along with him, spinning in circles.
"Truth or dare Tal?" I say, spinning quite a bit slower.
"Dare."
"I dare you to come spin with me!" I laugh, watching him slowly get up from the couch and laughing with me as he grabs my hands and we spin together.
"Truth or dare?" He asks me,  still laughing.
"Dare."
"I dare you to stop before we both get way too dizzy and get a headache." He says, laughing.
"Ok." I stop spinning, and start to tumble around the room.
"Are you ok?" Tal asks, standing in the same spot and only only slightly sqaying back and forth.
"How are you just standing there?"
"I didn't spin as long as you did."
"Oh yeah. Well, truth or dare?"
"Dare."
"I dare you to stop playing this game and come here." I say, holding open my arms for him as he walks over to me. I wrap him in a big hug, and he wraps his arms around me, resting his cheek on my head.

We stayed like that for at least 5 minutes before one of us spoke.

"My legs are starting to hurt." I say, breaking the comfortable silence. I look over at the clock to see that it's already only 4 o'clock.

"Mine too. Why don't we sit down?" 

"Sure.  Do you know where my phone went?"

"Yeah.  It's in the bedroom.  Do you know where mine is?"

"It's sitting on the make-shift bar."

"Thanks.  How about I grab yours and you grab mine, and we'll meet back on the couch?"

"First one there wins and gets to pick the next movie we watch."

"You're on!"  Tal says, rushing into the bedroom before anyone can even say go.  I instantly rush over to the "bar" and snatch Tal's phone, making sure I don't drop and break it in the process, and see Tal emerge from the bedroom.  I run as fast as I can to the couch, and leap onto it.  I thought I was going to make it when Tal snatched me out of mid-air and sat me on his lap.  

"Wha..?"  I say, gripping his phone as he wraps his arms around me so I won't fall of of his lap.  My feet were on the one side of the couch, and my back was pressed against the arm of the chair. I was sitting on his lap, and he was sitting "normally" as I liked to call it.
"I win." He says, laughing. His laughter made me start laughing because I could FEEL his laughter vibrating through my bones since I was pressed against him.
"You cheated." I say, trying to be mad at him but failing. Instead of being mad, I was laughing.
"You don't look very mad." He said, smirking.
"I am...on the inside." In response, he started laughing almost out of control. I gave up on trying to be angry and started laughing with him.

"Your adorable when you try to be mad but you can't."

"Aww..thanks Tally bear."

"Tally bear?"  Tal says, giving me a weird look.  In response, I start to laugh out of control, accidentally dropping Tal's phone out of my hands and falling onto the floor.  I could barely see Tal since my eyes were watering as he set my phone on the couch cushion next to him and knelt down next to me. 

"Are you ok Eva?"  He asks, picking me up and forcing me to kneel in front of him.

"Yeah."  I finally manage to say, trying to calm myself down a LOT more.  After about 5 minutes of Tal staring at me as I try to stop laughing, I finally stop and am able to see clearly again.  Once I look at Tal again, he looks right back at me and leans in, pressing his lips against mine for only about 20 seconds before pulling away.  

"Better?"  He asks, gently rubbing my arms. 

"Yes."  Is say as he helps me stand back up and sit close to him on the couch.  He picks up his phone and sits all the way back, putting one arm around me.  I grab my phone off the cushion and checking my notifications.  I scrolled through all my social medias as I'm sure Tal was also doing.  Whenever we found some really funny memes or videos, we would show each other, but other than that, we stayed quiet, enjoying the relaxation. 

After a while, I got up and grabbed some headphones, wanting to check out his channel.  I put the earbuds in and found his channeling, clicking on the video that looked the most interesting.  I starting watching it, hoping he wouldn't get mad at me for watching his YouTube channel..

A/N:  first of all, I'm sorry the format is so weird.  I wrote certain parts on my phone, and the other parts on my laptop, and the two formats don't match up.  Second of all, please continue to comment your thoughts because they help me come up with more ideas and make me feel so much better about my writing.  Third, once we reach 100 votes, I'll do some shout outs to some of the people who support me the most.  If we reach 100 before the weekend is over, I'll do two more chapters before Monday.  I hope we can make it to number one in one of the rankings because that would be a dream come true!!
