"Tal! Eva! Time to get up!" I heard Adi call from the behind the door. I looked over at Tal, who was still fast asleep.
"Tal! Wake-up!" I said, untangling myself from his arms and slightly shaking his arm as I crawled out of the bed.
"Huh?" He groaned, reaching out for me, but never reaching me. He opened his eyes to see that I was already out of the bed. He groaned again, sitting up.
"It's time to get up. It's already 10 o'clock."
"Really?"
"Yeah. We fell asleep early and slept in late."
"I guess it was just nice being home and in a decent bed for once."
"Especially after you slept in those police station chairs things."
"They were more like cushioned benches.....just short benches. Besides, you seemed comfortable."
"Because I slept on the floor underneath the bench. It was actually comfortable. I told you several times to join me, but you didn't."
"I was your guardian angel."
"Whatever." I said, laughing at him. He just grinned back, walking over to his closet.
"Come on, let's get dressed."
"Do I have any clean clothes left?"
"I think so." he said. I walked over to him, hoping I did. He showed me the section where my clothes were hung and folded, and I ended up finding this:
It was a combination of both mine and Tal's clothes. I ended up stealing the flannel from Tal. I even borrowed a pair of Adi's shoes since his feet were so small and the only shoes I had were ruined. We got into his mother's car, Adi sitting in the back seat. He had begged Tal to let him go with because he was sick of sitting in the house all day and had missed hanging out with Tal all the time. I had just told them that they were adorable and told Tal that he was a good big brother.
"Where to first?" Adi said, leaning into my chair, his loud voice echoing in my ear.
"How about somewhere to eat?" Tal said, looking over at Adi and I.
"Yes!" We said in unison, laughing. Tal just rolled his eyes and started driving, pulling into In-N-Out Burger a few minutes later. We ordered and found ourselves a table, waiting for our food to be ready. After we had gotten our food, two boys walked in, seeing Tal and Adi, and walking over to us. I didn't recognize them at all.
"DADDY!!" Said the one boy, rushing over to Tal and giving him a huge hug.
"Giraffe!!" The other said, hugging Tal also. I just stared, looking from Tal to them and back to Tal again. Adi leaned over towards me since Tal was sitting next to me, and Adi on the other side.
"That one's Anthony." He said, pointing to the one who had called Tal, "daddy". "And that one's Michael. They're his friends."
"Why don't I recognize them?"
"They go to a different school than you guys do. They make videos with him and have a ton of inside jokes. Anthony always calls Tal daddy, and him and Michael are always making fun of how long his neck is by calling him a giraffe."
"I don't think his neck is that long." I said. It was then that the two boys, Michael and Anthony, realized that I was there. They let go of Tal and dragged him out of the seat, sitting next to me, Anthony the closest. Tal rolled his eyes and sat next to Adi.
"And who might you be?" Anthony said.
"I'm Eva."
"And how do you know Tal?" Michael asked.
"I go to school with him...how do you two know him?"
"We're You-tubers. That's all the explanation you need." Michael said.
"Ok, are you good You-Tubers?"
"The best around." Anthony said, grinning at me.
"Who are you Tal's friend?" Michael asked.
"Yeah."
"Michael...she's my girlfriend." Tal said, smiling as he said girlfriend.
"Really? Someone this hot would date YOU? Unfair." Michael said, making Anthony laugh as Michael pouted. I blushed, scooting closer to the wall, wishing Tal would come back to sit by me.
"She blushes easily." Anthony said, poking at my red cheeks. I swatted at his hand, not hurting him but sending the message for him to stop touching me. He kept poking me besides the fact I had swatted at his hand.
"If you keep touching me, I'm gonna go crazy." I said, staring into his eyes and glaring. He slowly brought his hand towards me, jabbing me in the arm.
"That's it!" I said, crouching on the seat and lunging towards Anthony. Michael moved out of the seat, laughing. I wrapped my arm around his head, tackling him to the ground, straddling him once we had fell out of the booth. I wrapped by hands around his neck, pretending to strangle him. I could hear Tal laughing from behind me, so I bent down to whisper in Anthony's ear as everyone in the restaurant watched with wide eyes, some smiling or laughing.
"You should really stop doing something when I tell you, or else there will be consequences." I whispered in his ear, getting off of him and going over to sit by Tal. The entire restaurant burst into applause and laughter. Anthony's face was beet red. Even Tal was laughing as he wrapped his arm around my shoulders. Adi leaned over Tal and gave me a fist bump.
"Take a bow for your audience." Tal whispered in my ear. I stood up and bowed, making everyone there start clapping harder.
"I just got beat by a girl." Anthony said, still laying on the ground and talking to himself.
"Yes, yes you did!" I laughed.
We decided to bring Michael and Anthony with us to our destinations for the day, everyone laughing and having a good time as we shopped. At one point, they insisted that I have a fashion show for them.
"How about we give you something to wear, and you have to put it on and show us!" Michael said.
"We should. I'll go first. Eva, go into that dressing room and get ready." Anthony said, rushing over to the clothes and digging for something. I looked over at Tal who just nodded, and made my way into the dressing room. I had no idea how this was going to go.
