Dear readers:
Sad to say but I had a huge amount of trouble with the ending of the last chapter.
I knew what I wanted to write but did not know how to write it eloquently enough.
(Fully realizing how hard it is to write in the same tone and theme throughout an eventful story)
At any rate, I felt like the end of chapter 9 and ultimately Clarions' fate, needed to be written or told beautifully which I figured out I could not do.
I have an exciting new path I want their journey to take so I am using this as basically a summary of what happened and went down.
After Milori takes Clarion into the castle, they find help for her as Miloris' nurse ends up being there and has another herbal remedy that ultimately saves Clarion.
After a few dramatic scenes and what not, Milori finds out what Clarion did for him but instead of being grateful he is livid.
(smh men amiright)
He is in fact so angry that he almost lost Clarion again, remember how caught up he is in that, he figures he can't take anymore chances with her and tells her so.
Of course Clarion is no ones' doormat and she is tired of waiting for Milori so both go their separate paths.
(About a year passes for all of these next events to fall into play)
While Clarion always loves Milori from afar and never entertains thoughts about another suitor, Milori falls in love again with a neighboring princess and marries her.
(Yes, I know apparently the same issues that hindered him and Clarion don't apply to his new relationship)
Her name is Arden and she is roughly the same age as Milori and Clarion.
She has long/flowing blonde hair, blue eyes, is kind/caring and of course is just all around gorgeous.
Milori seemingly has forgotten about Clarion while she still carries a torch for him and this will prove to be beneficial to Milori in the next upcoming chapter.
Basically in a freak flying accident, Arden is killed and Milori is devastated.
However he has no real time to grieve as about a month later he and Clarion will need to meet up again to defeat a new and evil ruler who threatens Pixie Hollow; Lord Kealy.
(Sorry But couldn't help and tease that there might be a connection between Ardens' death and this new evil lord...)
Milori being the cold and bitter man Ardens' death has made him actually does not want to help Clarion or get involved in "her mess" but realizes that if the evil lord gets control of the Pixie dust tree, the winter realm will have no flying capability and will leave them even more vulnerable with Lord Kealy next door.
So this next chapter begins after all these events, with an annoyed Milori and a worried Clarion meeting up to figure out a plan.I hope you all enjoy reading this as much as I enjoy writing it!
Also I love comments and feedback from you guys!
I try to spin a diverse story but let me know if there's more of something you want to read in this series!
Bear with me, you all know how I love a good relationship with it's hurdles.
(Note: I like how Clarion is the strong and silent type and not one to blow up in anger like Milori does, it's a true character quality that I think is super attractive. However this next journey I will be giving Clarion a little bit of sass, I'm sure a year of tragedies would give anyone that coping trait anyhow)*The following has scenes of violence and some language throughout the story.
