As soon as Molly told Isabella that there had been sightings of rogues on her territory she was out of her seat and almost out of the door when she remembered that she would need someone to look after Tori while she's away.
Isabella tried to reach out to John, one of the guards. As soon as Molly told her 'John?'. But Isabella got no response.
'Grace, take all of the women and children under the age of eighteen to the safe room, keep them there until I tell you that its ok and safe for you all to come out'.
'Yes alpha'.
Isabella's father had built the safe room two months before Isabella was born that way the pack and Isabella's mother had somewhere to go if rogues attacked.
He always made sure that the pack would be safe when he took warriors to go and fight and ninety percent of the time they all came back with minimum casualties. Some of the time there would be fatalities and the pack would mourn but most of the time almost everyone came out of a battle.
'I want trackers and fighters that are willing to help get rid of these rogues before they become a threat, I want them surrounded if possible and if they surrender I want to be able to bring them back to the holding cells'.
Isabella had many fighters and trackers volunteer to go and she just nodded her head and they all got up, leaving their half-finished dinners behind.
They follow Isabella out of the pack house. Isabella had left about thirty men back with the rest of the pack to help guard and protect the women and the children.
Before Isabella and her pack shifted she looked at them all in the eyes. 'Be careful, help each other out and make sure you don't get pinned down. We don't know how many there are'.
Her pack just nodded their heads and Isabella turned around 'Shift'. She called out and they all shifted. She shifted after that and started to run with her pack. Isabella still had her father's Beta and Gamma and his most trusted warrior.
Isabella was glad that she still had them, they hadn't given up their positions to their daughters because their daughters need to complete the mating process before they can take the title.
With her friends safe Isabella took them from her mind and concentrated on her senses.
'John, can you hear me?' She said as she reached out to John and his wolf.
She tried again 'John, can you hear me?'
John was one of the guards that was patrolling that section of Isabella's territory.
'Alpha, the rogues are about ten meters from the border line and their leader is in the front but he seems to be looking for something or someone'.
'Thanks John, don't engage until I get there, I have bought reinforcements in case we need them, but I was wondering why you weren't answering when we tried to communicate with you back at the pack house?'
'Because I am hidden from their view and I have only just woken up because they drugged us all with sedatives that were coated with wolfs bane'. John replied.
Isabella cringed. Wolfs bane was not pretty if it came in contact with a wolf. It causes the wolf to be in utter pain and in big enough doses it could make them pass out or kill them. 'John, are you ok?' Isabella asked worried.
'Yes, I'm ok alpha, but Brad, Cal and Johnathan are still unconscious'.
'John, we are almost there hang on'.
When Isabella and her pack arrived she silently walked up to John and said through the pack link 'Quickly and quietly surround them'.
Although as one of her newer fighters went to take a step he stepped on a branch and it snapped. Snap. The rogues instantly got into defensive positions but Isabella's pack had forgot to keep quiet after Toby had stepped on the twig, her pack had them surround in seconds, growling, and snarling at them.
Isabella shifted and pulled a shirt out of one of the plastic bags at the base of the tree. She slipped it on and walked out from where she was. She then asked, well more like demanded 'Where is your leader?'.
'Calm down little lady, I'm here'. A voice said from the middle of the circle of rogues. He starts to walk from the middle of the crowd and he stops a couple of meters in front of her, respecting her personal space. Although Isabella did growl at his disrespectful tone.
'Why are you so close to my borders and why did you sedate my patrol?' Isabella asked while she glared at him, looking him over.
'We don't mean any harm, we are just on the way to my brother's pack, I was the beta of my pack and he is the alpha of the black stone pack. You've heard of them, right? We sedated them because they tried to attack us'.
'Yes, they are two packs over from here, North East direction and I'm sorry but that is what they have been told to do, we've had issues with other rogues'. Isabella replied.
'Ok we will be going now, thank you for not killing any of my pack' He replies with what Isabella could only call gratitude.
'Just promise to keep off my land and away from my border'. Isabella said.
'Yes alpha'.
'Ok beta...?'.
'Johnson'.
'You're welcome beta Johnson, although if you would prefer my pack and I could escort you through our land to make your trip shorter'.
'Thank you, alpha...?'.
'Isabella Beckett'.
'Thank you, Alpha Beckett'.
