With repairs of the town nearly complete Aviana and Cain decided it was time to take a new job. They found one that was really easy for them. It was to retrieve a lost treasure from the bottom of the ocean. The reward totaled to 250,000 each, that is if Aviana and Katsandra pooled their share of the money, which they always did. "What do you guys think?" asked Aviana.

Katsandra nodded, "Looks good it says the family making the request will sail us out their so I can just wait for you two on the boat."

"Yep," agreed Cain, "Plus with our powers, we'll be able to withstand the water pressure."

"I wonder why they don't just use fishing equipment to get it out." Aviana wondered.

"We'll ask about that when we get there," Cain assured her, again she sensed his tension and could tell he was hiding something. 'I swear, this mission I am going to make him tell me what's been bothering him.' she thought. Then she followed him to the train station and, after departure, ran for the bathroom.

When they arrived in the coastal town of Hythe they sought out the family that made the request. They found out that the family had heard they were coming and was waiting for them at the docks. When they found arrived at the docks the family thanked them for agreeing to help them. "It's our pleasure," Katsandra said, "But I must ask, why don't you just fish it out? Why do you need mages?"

The family looked down, "It's because it is in an area where giant electric eels are known to swim. We were hoping the mages would be able to get past them." said the father.

Aviana shuddered, she had experienced electric eels before and it hadn't been fun. The thought of giant ones creeped her out. "Is that the only problem?" she asked.

The mother nodded, "Yes. Please retrieve it. It was sunk by our family long ago and we only recently found the map."

"We'll do our best but we aren't immune to lightning," Cain said.

"I'll sail you out to where the map says it is." said the son, gesturing to a boat behind him, "My name is Castor, by the way," he added.

"Thank you, Castor. Katsandra will be riding with you but I know that I will be running on the water's surface. I get motion sick and would rather not throw up in your boat." Aviana said.

"I'll go with Aviana," Cain added.

Castor nodded, "Alright just stay close I'm the only one who can read the map and lead us to the exact location." With a quick nod, Aviana and Cain lept off the dock and stood on the water's surface. Katsandra climbed aboard Castor's boat with him and the group set off. After about 20 minutes of travel Castor stopped the boat. "It should be right below us," he said.

"Got it," said Aviana, she glanced at Cain, "Ready?" he nodded. The two both dove and swam straight down. "Can you hear and understand me, Cain?" Aviana asked.

"Yes," Cain replied.

"Good, at least we know we can communicate down here." Aviana said, "Stay close I can sense those eels but I can't see them." No sooner had she said that, then a group of three eels shot out of the rocks and rushed them. Cain dodged and blasted one with a burst of water. It shoved the eel into the cliff which promptly buried it in a mini rockslide. The other two went for Aviana. She knocked one off course with a blast of water but got headbutt by the other. She felt a jolt of electricity surge through her body, 'God it wasn't even trying to shock me and I felt it. What's going to happen if it actually gets me?' She dodged again and knocked one into the cliff the way Cain had done. But doing so caused her to lose sight of the other one. Before she could locate it again it wrapped itself around her and shocked her. "AGH!" she screamed in pain. She managed to get it off her but started to black out. She felt herself start to sink and saw the fuzzy image of the eel starting towards her to finish her off.
