When Katsandra and Aviana finally arrived in the small coastal town after four hours by train, Aviana had already thrown up six times and was too sick to notice the cloaked figure following her. Upon arriving, they were greeted with a very frightened mayor, who told them to do whatever it took to get rid of the monster. After reassuring the mayor that they will deal with the monster, the two of them headed to the harbor; where they had to show the guards their guild marks to prove that they had permission to enter the roped off area. When they reached the pier, they decided it would be better to fly over the water instead of using a boat to search for the creature, because the mere mention of a boat was enough to make Aviana sick. They hadn't gone far when the water below them serged and the monster lept out of the water and snapped at them. The creature was as large as the ships in the harbor and was dark violet. It was covered in thick scales and had a head that looked like a snake's. It had a huge body with flippers so that it could move smoothly through the water.

"Well, it doesn't look too dangerous, just a little scary," Aviana said watching the creature circle below them in the water.

"ARE YOU KIDDING!!!" screamed Katsandra, "DID YOU NOT SEE THOSE FANGS!?!?!"

"First, OW! That's my ear! And second, what is going on with you? You are usually the calm and stern one, you never sound that scared much less start screaming," replied Aviana rubbing her ear that Katsandra's scream had just deafened.

"S-sorry... it's just that thing reminds of the snake you saved me from when we first met... I-I have been terrified of snakes ever since, remember," Katsandra whimpered her paws were trembling on the back of Aviana's shirt, which is how she carried her when they flew.

"Oh my gosh! I am so sorry Katsandra I forgot," Aviana gasped, "Take me back to the pier. It is time to use my walking on water technique."

Back at the pier, they were told that a boy about her age wearing a black cloak had blown through the security checkpoint and was hiding somewhere in that part of town. Though this worried Aviana because she didn't want anyone to get hurt she told the soldiers that she couldn't worry about the boy and had to focus on the task they had requested of her, dealing with the monster. She explained her plan and then sent them off to continue their duties so that she could continue her's. Taking a deep breath she stepped off the pier onto the water.

"OK, I'm good to go," She said looking at Katsandra sitting on the docks.

"Indeed," Katsandra said, "but are you sure you will be able to fight that thing while using this spell?"

Aviana froze, she had never tried fighting or using any other magic while using this technique before, "I... I actually have no idea," She said honestly.

Katsandra smacked herself in the forehead with her paw, "Honestly child—"

"But there is no time like the present to find out," Aviana shouted and took off across the water's surface in the direction that they had last seen the monster.

"AVIANA WAIT!!" Katsandra yelled then took off after her, to herself she muttered, "If that child hurts herself trying to do this I swear I will kill her myself."

As they approached the spot, the creature rose from the water and studied Aviana. She stopped a safe distance away and stared right back at it, Katsandra cowered behind her. Finally, the creature roared and shot forward with its fangs bared. Aviana took a deep breath and shouted, "WATER DRAGON'S ROAR!" A magic circle appeared in front of her mouth and a giant whirlpool shot out of it and slammed into the creature throwing it backwards.

"Well it looks I can fight while walking on water," Aviana said to Katsandra as the creature tried to right itself in the water "I wonder if I have the strength to throw it over the harbor wall and out into the ocean where it belongs?"
