Chapter 9: Letter

Harvey's P.O.V.

"Oh you're awake." The girl said but I ignored it an kept my blank face.

"Where's my granny?"

"She said she'll be gone for a few days or weeks. She said that she'll be taking care of your school, so that you can transfer to the school here. And she said that she'll be with your mother for awhile.She also said that you should read and obey what's on the letter she gave you and that she has eyes around this place."

I gave her the are-you-done look and she nodded.

"So... where's the letter?"I asked helding out my hand.

"She said it's in her room. And I'm sorry but I would give it to you.. if only I know where her room is."she babbled.

"It's okay."

'Really?because I think your being a meany. ' am I hearing things. Must be because of the alcohol.

I tried to stand up but failed.

"Here let me help."she offered. Which I didn't declined.

She went and grabbed my arm, supporting me. But I felt some weird feeling in my system.

I looked up at her and we held each others eyes.

I was the first one to avert my eyes then I removed my arm from her hold.

'Ugh, I don't like that attitude of him. It's bad.' There it is again.

I then looked at her like she's grown three heads. It can't be her. She didn't even open her mouth.

She gave me a 'what?' look.

I shook my head and attepted to stand again.

This time I ignored the weird feeling.

I gave a nod to thank her as she smiled back as a response.

Though I felt dizzy. I kept on walking to granny's room.

When I arrived, I opened it and went to the nightstand and sat there.

I started reading the letter.

My dearest grandson,

This letter will take long but I hope you bare with it. I know how much you hate long letters. But still, know that this is important.

I will be gone for a few weeks or months. I will be going to your school to take care of some business. Also I'll be staying with your mother for awhile.

Make sure to take care of the house for me will you. Please... and there's also a person that I want you to take care of. I hope that you'll take care of her for me. Make sure that the girl that lost her memory stays comfortable and safe there. I trust you with this.

Granny cares for you so much. Make sure to eat your meals at the right time. And don't hurt yourself just because of the things that is happening to you.
