Chapter 27: New Comers

Ana's P.O.V.

As soon as we step out of the portal, we were welcomed by the cold air of the place. Red maple trees, Silver maple tree, Sourwood tree, Maple trees were everywhere in this part. I enhaled the fresh smell of air.

I squealed in delight. This is my first time in my 20 years of existence that I get to go to another dimension. *giggle*

A gleeful smile was stretched across my face as I observed my surroundings.

The beautiful view of the never ending, different kinds of maple trees; The animals that cross by. The rabbits, deer, butterflies and a lot more!

My smile slowly fades as I remember HER.

SHE would've loved this. I heaved a sigh as I remember HER again. I miss her.

"Why did your mood change so suddenly young miss?" Venderwood said, or as I like to call him, Woodie! 

I look at him and smiled. A smile that didn't reach my eyes. " I just remembered her, Woodie. She would've love this place. She loves nature!" my voice was about to crack. I just held my tears and acted strong. It was already threatening to spill. I will not let anyone see me cry.

"Be strong young miss. Stop the sadness that's spreading within you. She wouldn't be happy to see you sad. "he patted my shoulder once. I gave him a tight smile then took a deep breath. I exhaled all my negative vibes.

"Alright! I'll stop it. For you sissy." I wiped a lone tear that escaped my eyes then encouraged a smile to my face. I opened my hands to release IT.

"Sooo... where's the place Dad said we could stay in." I asked politely.

" It's a bit far from here young miss. Is it okay with you?" I nodded in response. 

Venderwood pulled something from the pouch he was holding, then a string of light appeared right in front of us. Slowly, it formed to a long car, on which they call on earth a, limousine. 

Back at home, we don't need things such as this. But the teachers include this on our 'dimensions class'. We can learn different things on what is in that dimension.

I giggled in delight. But...

"Woodie, how do we cross this forest of maples if there's no road for the limo to go through?"he just smiled then took something out from the same pouch.

Wow, that pouch is sure is something.

He pressed the button then the trees started to move. It made a path just enough for the limo.

I shouldn't be shocked but what can I say. This is my first time on going out, and in another dimension.

Woodie went to open the door and gestured for me to come in.

I excitedly hopped in then fixed my cloak once I was seated properly.

Venderwood walked to the driver's side then started the engine.

And as the limo started to move, the trees behind us started to close, back to its original place before.

When I faced front, its when I noticed the different kinds of fruits arranged by its color. A grinned stretched across my face. Mostly I could see my favorite fruit of all...

STRAWBERRIES!!! YEY!!!

I was careful to balance myself in the car while reaching out to my lovey precious fruity!

The whole ride I was only eating strawberries. Hehe, I think I emptied it.

The car stopped. I wonder why.

"Young miss, we're here." Woodie announced.

I scooted closer to the window and stared at the huge house. It looks cozy and safe...Hmmm. Nice. I like it!

He knocked on the window twice, for me to come out.

I obeyed then fixed my cloak once I was out. I then ran inside the house. *squeal* 

As I toured my eyes, looking at every corner of the house, I sigh.

This will be my home. FOR NOW. . .
