Chapter 22: Someone

Someone's P.O.V.

I was sitting in my office, when my messenger went in.

He bowed then said." Sìre, there has been a report of a missing one in action. She has not been seen for awhile now."

"A missing fellow? Well that's peculiar." I stopped for a moment. I clasped my hands together in front of me then closed my eyes. "Why would she be missing?" I said plainly. "Did she do anything wrong?"

The messenger who's still bowing his head replied." She has no records over the past years of her existence Sìre.  Everything is clean."

"Hmmmmm. .." I hummed.

What could be her reason. No one in history has been missing in terms of this job.

"Search for her and bring her here. There are laws to follow and she broke it."

I can feel the messenger bowed then went out.

Just then... .

"Dad?! Dad?!"my daughter called out.

I opened my eyes and broke into a wide smile to see my princess.

She ran towards me, holding her gown.

"Dad!"she then hugged me. Happiness radiates from her.

"Hey there princess!" She was hugging me too tight. "Woah, woah, easy my princess." I chuckled.

Anna, my daughter, pulled away and stared at me with wide smile in her face. Her eyes were sparkling. Ahhh... I know that look.

"Dad!"she chirped." I have a request." Yup, I was right." Can I go to the earth? Pleeeaaassseee dad. I wanna know what's like it there. Pleeeaaassseee. I heard it from the servants, who heard it from the workers. Oh pleeeaaassseee dad, pleeeaaassseee. "she was giving me that puppy dog eyes again.

But why does she want to go there?

That world is dangerous.

No, no, no... I can't let my daughter be in the hands of danger. I can't let it h-

My thought was cut off short.

"Dad pleeeaaassseee."she was hugging me now. She then pulled away and looked at me with her puppy dog eyes who is sparkling with determination.

I sigh then thought of a way that she could go there unharmed.  He really can't say no to his daughter.

"You can go there -"

"YEY!"

"BUT-"

"But what?"she looked at me questionaly. I sigh.

"Have the guards to protect you." I said in finality.

"Okay!"Ana agreed lively. "Thank you dad!" I was again crushed by a bone crushing hug.

She gave me a kiss in the  cheek then hurriedly left the room.

*sigh*

They grow up so fast.

I decided to call my trusted friend.

"Venderwood. " he then appeared in front of me.

"Angelo! My friend! Long time no see!"he greeted me gleefully. Then went to give me a manly hug.

When he let go. I spoke with a smile." Hey Ven." I chuckled." We just talked yesterday man."we both chuckled at that. "Anyways, can you do me a favor?"

"Sure, what is it?"

"Could you accompany my daughter somewhere. Make sure that no one knows her okay?" I can't let it happen again. I'll go insane!

"Of course. See yah!" With that he disappeared.

Ana came rushing towards me with a backpack behind her.

"Daddy! I'm ready!"she giggles with excitement.

I look at her with worry eyes." Come here princess." I motioned for her to come close. And she did. I hugged her.

"Look. I want you to be safe okay? Take care and don't let anyone who looks suspicious go near you. Understand?"she nodded her head in agreement, still hugged by me."*sigh* I just don't want to loose you princess. You and your mom are what's left of me. I can't loose you." I hugged her tighter.

"I'll be back daddy. Promise. I'll miss you."

I released her from my hold then stare at her.

"I'll miss you too."*sigh*"Venderwood!"

"Everything is ready."was his reply.

"Take care of my daughter."

He gave me a reassuring nod. Then they set off.

I sent a white feather to follow them incase something might happen.

'Be safe, I don't want history to repeat again.'
