Author's P.O.V.
It was a normal day, for Angel. The shining sun, the cool breeze, everything!
Just a normal day and a joyful smile on her face.
Harvey on the other hand, was feeling bothered by something. He can't pin-point what. He had been feeling strange things lately, the unusual ones.
Earlier this morning after another dream of the man's voice, he was bothered by it. The man said something about him being his son. He can't remember his dad sound like that. His dad has a deep baritone voice, compared to the one in his dream, it has the same tone but with a hint of a husky tone and a velvety one. Harvey's is kind-of like his' but with a bit of a difference.
Questions were roaming around his head that Harvey didn't notice he was in the hallway walking to class. Most of the girls were gawking at him, sending flirty looks and sent some glare to the one in his right.
He turned to see who is the person. Turns out it was Angel. Despite the glares received from the other girls, she didn't seem fazed by it. Instead, she continued to walk beside me with a bright smile on her face, not minding her surroundings. Cute.
For the past few days Harvey and Angel were a bit closer than before. Angel always encourage him to smile each day; every minute; every hour. But fails. Harvey always give off some tight smiles. Smiles that doesn't reach the eyes. But Angel was persistent, she'll find a way to make him smile genuinely.
"If there's a will; there's a way."
"Angel!" Calix yelled as he jogged towards her while waving a bit.
She turned around, saw him, then grinned. Harvey followed where her eyes were, then he saw the paper bag in his hands.
"Hi Calix!"she waved back.
Calix handed her the paper bag that he was holding. "Here, Nana made this just this morning."he smiled."You said you want lasagna, so since nana made one I brought some."in response, she grinned then hugged him.
"Thank you Calix!!"
"Woah easy there, its... too ... tight." Calix said as he tried to balance himself from Angel's hug attack.
She quickly let go then sent an apologetic smile."Sorry...hehe"
"It's okay. Here..."he handed the bag again, which she happily took. Her smile was even brighter than the sun.
'Yeah, and you're not doing anything to make her feel that way.' A voice said in Harvey's head.
Who was that?
He let it slide to the back of his mind. Why should I make her smile like that? It's not like they're. ..
He shook his head. Stopping the memories of him and Mae appear.
"Come on! We're gonna be late for class." Angel announced as she takes the lead. She was still holding to that paper bag given by Calix.
Something bubbled up inside Harvey. So, he took a deep breath then proceeded to walk. Ignoring it.

It was just like the other days in school, where they teach you, you listen then you learn. Though there is one subject that most of the student here in V.U. takes.
That's the only subject at night. All the other ones is up to morning till afternoon. By 4:30 P.M. all the students that is not included in that subject may proceed in going home. The longer you stay, the shorter your life will be. Well, that's for the ones that's not included.
By now, it was 4 P.M. Students were heading home and some stayed for awhile and some, well that's for you to know.
Harvey just got out of his class, as well as Angel and Calix.
Today was a blast for Angel. She got all the quizes perfect. Despite her memory lose, she was a fast learner. Her teachers praised her and all she could do was thank them and smiled. She was shy about the attention she's getting.
The girls in the front row threw draggers at her. The boys were wearing amused faces and couldn't hide the hint of admiration in their eyes. She is pretty, to add up to that, she's also smart.
And as for David, he was like a statue stuck staring at Angel.
'I couldn't be more proud.' his subconscious said.

Harvey was just listening to the teachers and took the quizes. He got all right, especially arts. Who knew he could paint.
They were asked to paint a person who seem close to them. And for them to pass the quiz, your painting should be original, fresh, creative and most of all the emotion.
You'll know soon what he painted.^_-
All the girls fell again and again to his charms, talent and intelligence.
All in all it was an eventful day for both of them.
Calix, on the other hand seemed bothered after lunch. He was spacing out most of the time. Not the joyful Calix this morning.
I wonder what happened . . . ?
To be continued . . .
