Chapter 16: Why is he MAD?

Heaven's P.O.V.

Turns out the guy's name was David. We basically have the same schedule during the afternoon.

After classes were done, it's time to go home.

I grabbed my backpack and clung it to my shoulders.

When I was about to exit the room, David called me.

"Angel!where are you going?" He asked. He was just done arranging his stuff.

"I'm going to the nanny's area. Why?"

"Can I come with you?"

"Sure!"I exclaimed.

I also need a companion to go there. I don't want to repeat the same accident that happened this afternoon.

On our way there, David keeps on cracking up some jokes.

The only thing I did was laugh hard at his jokes. He was a funny guy.

We were now at the nanny's area. I looked everywhere but I didn't saw nanny. David said we should look at the log book there to see if she had gone out. It said there that she left 30 minutes ago.

Then the small rectangular box thingy that Aunt Ann gave me, vibrated.

"Someone's calling you. Won't you answer it?" David asked who is at my side.

" I don't know how to use this yet."I really do. I was even suprised that I know how to use the laptop. But this is kind of different, I guess.

"Here let me help." He then swipe the screen. I put that thingy near my ears.

"Hello?" I called.

"Dear, It's Jane. I'm currently here in the car. Sorry. I got a bit bored there, so I went here. Are you done with your classes?" She said through this thing.

"Uh... . Yes nanny. I just finished."

"Great! We'll pick you up near the parking area, okay?"

"Okay."

"Bye dear!"

"By nanny!"

End call.

After the call. David and I proceeded to got to the parking area. I didn't know how to get there, that's why he offered to accompany me.

"Oh, my.*laughs* you're such a joker David."I laughed hard.

"You shoud've heard of the other one." David said. He was also laughing hard along with his jokes.

This place is really big and since classes were done, the place was cleared with students.

We were laughing about some funny and embarrassing moments of his life.

When we were nearing the parking lot, I saw the car I went into this afternoon. The window rolled down and it revealed nanny Jane. She smiled at me and I mirrored back the action. I turned to face David.

"Good bye David, I gotta go. Bye." I waved and flash him a warm smile.

"Good bye Angel. See you tomorrow." His sudden next move stunned me.

It was just a hug, but it kind of feel a little weird. I hugged back.

When he let go. I gave him a shy smile and went off to the car.

Once I took a seat, I looked to see David still waving.

I smiled.

The drive wasn't that long. I noticed that nanny Jane and Carlo (the driver) kept on glancing at each other in the mirror.

I had a feeling that something was going on. I giggled at my thought.

We arrived. I just step foot in the mansion. When a cold and distant voice made me stop.

"What took you so long?"

I gazed at the person who said that. And I found to see Harvey. Oh, my. Is he mad that I took long?

"Hello...?... Hi...?" I was shy. What can I do? What WILL I do??? Is he mad???

"Don't change the subject." He said sternly.

"The last teacher dismissed us late."I reasoned.

"Really?!"he asked sarcastically, with a hint of anger.

What happened to him? Mood swings?

He wasn't like this since the day we met.

"Yeah."

"And you ask me to believe that?"he asked again like it was the stupidest reason he heard.

"Look, I'm sorry if I was late or that I took long. Just please don't be mad." I gave him the puppy eyes. I don't like him to get mad.*pouts*

When I gazed upwards to look at him in the eyes, I saw it turned red. Was I seeing things?

Then his faced softened. After then he left.
