Chapter 14: A New Friend

Heaven's P.O.V.

Class was great!

I'm suprised that I know what the teacher was talking about. She even praised me. And I thanked her. Phew! That was great!!!

After the 1st subject I had this afternoon I didn't get to see Harvey and Calix again. It was sad though. I thought I can be both friends with them. I really wanted to hang out.

It was recess.

I was trying to fit in with these people. It was hard for me, especially that I'm not familiar at going to school.

Here I was at the cafeteria.

I know I shoud've gone to Harvey and Calix, but I think that they're too busy. They're the only people I know here.

While eating an idea pops in my head.

Nanny Jane, can share snacks with me.😊😊😊

I stood up. I got this feeling that others were watching me like a prey but I shrug it off.

I was in the hallways walking.

I still remember the way there, but it's kind of far from the cafeteria. Especially in this enormous school.

Walk....

Walk...

Walk...

Walk...

I think I feel somebody is watching me. But I continued to walk.

Then suddenly, my head throbbed.

What is wrong with me????

I held my head to support it coz it feels like a heavy thing.

"Ugghh. .." I groaned and shut my eyes.

"Miss, miss. Are you okay???" It was a voice of a male.

I couldn't speak. All I did was groan and clutch my head.

Then there was blackness.

It was the sky.

'Heaven my dear!!'

a female voice said. By the sound of it, I think she's happy.

'Who are you???' I questioned though I see no one. But no one answered.

It was just pure white with a shiny light.

Then I heard another, it was giggling.

'Got you!!'

I heard another voice again. This time it was a male.

The other voice giggled again.

'Put me down papa!!' *giggles.*

Papa???

Could it be..????

My father???

Slowly my mind went up to the present. What did I just dreamt about?

Where am I???

"I think she's waking up."

" I hope so."

Slowly my eyes fluttered open. Only to be greeted by the bright light.

I squinted my eyes and slowly my vision got clearer.

Stood in front of me was a nurse.

"Feeling any better miss?"she asked in a caring manner.

"What happened?"

"You fainted miss. Are you okay now? Feeling better?"the nurse asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine."

"Since when did this fainting started happening?"

"A few days ago. Why?"

"Is there any reason as to why you've been feeling this?"

I thought for a moment. What could be the reason? I can't even remember my name. I just told my name is Angel coz I heard Calix called me that. Other than that, I also don't want anyone to have any issue or questions about why I don't have a name.

I was spaced out and went back to reality when the nurse called me.

"Miss?,....miss.."she keeps on calling me but I can't hear it.

"Miss!"

"Aha... what?" I asked confused.

" You were spacing out."

"Oh, sorry."

She then smiled at me.

"It's okay."

"Miss nurse. Can I ask who brought me here?"I asked out of curiosity.

"He's right here." I then looked to see where she's pointing and saw that it was my classmate." He fell asleep waiting for you to wake up."

'How thoughtful of him.' I smiled to myself. The guy looked cute while asleep.

"I have to go. My shift is over. Are you alright if you'll be here?"

"Yeah I'm fine. I can handle myself."

We said our goodbyes and I continue to look at the guy.

I hope we can be friends.

Then suddenly, he stirred. Slowly his eyes started to open. He moved his body to angle it to a proper sitting position then looked around. It didn't took long for him to notice I was here.

"Uhhh.. are you okay now?"he asked shyly and scratched the back of his head.

I smiled warmly at him." Thanks for bringing me here. And I'm sorry for the inconvenience."

He waved it off and said. "It's okay. no harm done and I'm glad I helped you."

He was so nice.😊

"Again, thank you."

"You're welcome."

"Can we be friends? " he asked shyly again.

I smiled brightly. "Of course!" I beamed.

We talked for awhile. Just some random stuff about him.

It was was nice to be friends with him. He sure is a joker and a gentleman at the same time.

It was not long when the bell rang signaling us that classes are about to start.
