Jade was difficult to move today, everything in her body ached.
"While we're at the doctors I'll have them check you out."
"They can't do anything." She snapped. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to snap at you. I'm just not feeling great. Excuse me." She pushed me out of the way and threw up out the window.
"Death would be better than this."
"Stop talking like that!" I hissed.

We reached the doctors office. I walked Jade down to doctor Mosley. He examined her and looked at her X-rays. His face fell.
"It's not good, it's spread into more places."
"Give her chemo or something," I cried "You're letting her die!"
"There's nothing more to do, I'm sorry." Apologized the doctor
"How long?" Asked Jade.
"Roughly 5 months or less." We were both holding each other crying.

When we left that office, we visited the OB/GYN's office. They had me lay down, then they pulled up my shirt over my belly, and put some kind of jelly on my belly. They moved the device across my stomach and found the baby. It was big.

"How far along am I?"
"You're about 5 months." My eyes enlarged.
"Do you want to know the gender?"
"Yes hold on I want to call my boyfriend so he can hear." I dialed his number
"Hey love."
"You guys are having a girl." Said the doctor. I could hear Ezra crying in the background. Jade was crying too as she squeezed my hand.
"She's going to be beautiful, just like her mother." Grinned Jade. She winced as a wave of pain went through her. I looked at her concerned. She acted like it was nothing and smiled through the pain like always.
"Can we go home please." Cried Jade
"Whatever you want dear." I swallowed away my tears and drove home. Jade layed down and fell asleep. I heard a quiet knock at the door. I opened it to Ezra standing in the door frame. I wrapped my arms around him, burying my tears in his chest.
"She's dying. Her time has divided. I'm losing everyone," I sobbed. He ran his fingers through my hair and kissed the top of my head.
"Everything is going to be ok," he told me while holding me.
