I was unable to move, but I had to. Time was ticking, and I wasn't about to lose my daughter. Ezra was going to be so confused on what is going on, so I started to write him a note:
Ezra you might not ever see me again, so don't come looking for me. I love you so so so much. Please take care of Danielle for me. -Bay
I took one last final look at Ezra and headed for the door.

My back was drenched in cold sweat, and I was hyperventilating. How was my life coming to an end like this? First I'd lose everyone I loved, then I'd die? I looked at the clock, it read 2:41pm. I had to be there by three. My thoughts were everywhere, and I couldn't get them together enough to get moving. The drive to the hospital was about ten to fifteen minuets, plus another five minutes to get to Danielle's room. I took one last glance at Ezra, put the note on the table and headed for the door.

I was speeding down the highway, until I had to come to a halt. There was a red light stopping me from moving forward.
"Common, common! I don't have time for this." I smacked my steering wheel. I glanced at the clock and it read 2:50pm. I was all but there. The light turned green and I slammed the gas pedal to the floor.

I was running through the front doors and asking to go to Danielle's room. They shook their head yes and motioned me forward. When the coast was clear I ran as fast as I could down the long hallway. My heart felt like it was bursting out of my chest. What room? I thought to myself. I couldn't remember the room number. Room 319 popped into my head. I had 30 seconds to spare.

I was breathing heavily when I saw two familiar faces.
"Hi mommy!" Danielle yelled. Jacks eyes followed her voice.
"You're a minute late." He started. I gulped.
"But that's okay. I like you, so you can have that extra minute without any consequences." He walked toward me smiling. Jack grabbed a chunk of my hair and smelled it.
"God I've missed you." He breathed on my hair. I stiffened.
"Please just don't hurt her or Ezra." I pleaded. His hand tightened over the chunk of hair he had. Jack kept his grip, and clenched his jaw.
"Why is everything always about him?" He said roughly. His hand was up my shirt, and he held something hard and stiff against my skin. I stiffened more.
"What is that?" He started to laugh.
"It's a gun." He whispered. I gulped but I couldn't swallow.

Danielle looked at us confused. I looked at her and made a face to keep her quiet.
"You need to sign Danielle's discharge papers. She's coming home with us." He said impatiently. I froze.
"You said you wouldn't hurt her."
"Yes, but I never said I wasn't taking her. Besides she's really pretty like her mother." He smiled.
"Don't you even think about touching her. She's only five!"
"Keep your voice down! And you don't get the option to tell me what to do." He hissed.

I stood there like a deer in headlights. He grabbed my arm tightly, and it took me back to a painful memory.
"Sign the papers." When I didn't respond, he squeezed tighter.
"Ow, you're hurting me." I whined.
"Now." He dug the gun deeper into my spine. With that, I had no other choice but to sign the papers.
"I... I need a pen." He stood there, something was on his mind.
"Jackson!"
"What!" He snapped.
"I need a pen." He practically threw one at me.

I signed paper after paper. Jack helped Danielle pack up her things. He walked with me to turn in the papers, so I wouldn't do anything suspicious. He smiled at the people at the front desk and lead us out the door. When we got to his truck, the angry doctor, and the nurse were waiting there with another man that looked familiar. I couldn't remember who he was, but I knew I saw him somewhere. Then I realized, and instantly knew that he was the man that smashed into my car.

"Bay, I believe you've already met these two." He said pointing at the doctor and the nurse. I didn't really pay attention to him, because I was staring at the other guy."
"This is-"
"I know exactly who he is." Jack looked at me surprised.
"You killed my daughter!" I was in his face, and I hadn't realized it.
"She wasn't even a year old yet!"
"Woah, calm down there." The man said.
"No, I'm not going to just calm down!"
"You need to get out of my face, little lady."
"Does it make you happy killing babies?" I could tell he was annoyed. The man stayed silent.
"Does it!" I screamed.
"Better back off little lady." I was beyond furious with him. My hands were meeting his face. Jack was pulling me off of him. I knocked him off of me and punched him some more. The man was on the ground with a bloody nose, and cut lip. The man was swinging his fists at me hitting me. It stunned me, but I didn't care. I was smashing his face in, until Jack finally got ahold of me to keep off of him.

"I'm going to kill you!" I spit at him. The doctor and nurse looked at me shocked.
"You want to go to?" I asked them. They didn't answer.
"Do you want me to kill you?" Jack mumbled into my ear. I stayed silent.
"That's what I thought. Anyways like I was saying, these three are people I payed to watch over you, and give me information about you." He said, then continued "I payed the dude that you nearly beat to death, to get you injured bad enough to get you to a hospital. Then I payed this doctor to keep you alive, and implant a tracking chip, so I knew everything about you. And lastly I payed the nurse to actually sleep with your boyfriend while I had you captive, but she actually fell In love with him. I don't know why everyone falls in love with him." He pulled the gun out from my back and pointed it at the nurses head.

She gasped.
"The deal was for you to get him to cheat, not catch feelings for him." She started crying.
"Please." She pleaded
"You're useless, you're nothing. I don't need you anymore. I'm really sorry." With no other words, he pulled the trigger without flinching. I screamed, the doctors jaw dropped, Danielle was holding her eyes. He then aimed the gun at the doctor.
"I'm also really sorry too." Jack said, the doctor closed his eyes, and gulped. Jack fired the gun again without flinching.
"Lastly." He pointed the gun at the other guy. I covered Danielle's eyes, as he fired the gun one last time. Blood seeped through my shoes and I wanted to throw up.
"Anyways, we have things to do." He said smiling, and opened the door to his truck.
