"This woman has lived through the death of her father at a young age, abandoned by her mother shortly after it, she has been raped, had a miscarriage, found out her mother was murdered,"
I looked at Ezra with alarming eyes, and I could feel tears stinging the corners of my eyes.
"Fell in love with her gorgeous costar, lost her dearest friend to cancer, had a baby, been kidnapped twice, got pregnant from her kidnapper, been in an accident and almost died a couple times, been proposed to, and lost one of her daughters." Sarah said, holding back tears from my emotional lifetime.Ezra held my hand and told me that it was ok, and that everyone was supporting her.
"Please welcome Bay Grey, for the best actress award on her newest hottest movie, A Winter Breeze." I sat there staring ahead, scrambling my thoughts together.
"Bay Grey?" The lady called.
"Go. They're calling your name baby." Ezra said smiling, pushing me forward. As I walked forward, I could hear Ezra clapping, and heard him say, "she'll forever be chasing Hollywood." I quietly reached the stage, smiling wider than the place itself."You have such an incredible story Bay, how do you do it?" Sarah asked.
"Well, I want to thank my amazing fiancé and my beautiful daughters for keeping me going. They're the reason why I'm still here. Every second of everyday that I was captured, I wanted to end my life, many, many times, heck I even told Jack to shoot me, but Ezra, Danielle, and Jaden's faces and voices popped in my head. Every time I would think of them, the thoughts of my life ending disappeared." I looked out into the crowd, their faces were confused.
"I was beaten up badly, to the point I almost died, when Jack went for the final strike, the police pounded on the door, letting him make a run for it." I wiped away a couple tears.
"I'm sorry guys, my life story is a very hard, and touchy story to tell." I looked out into the crowd and saw a couple faces full of horror. I smiled, holding up my award and said, "thank you guys again, for making this award happen, and thank you all for watching A Winter Breeze." I walked off of the stage, and quietly went to my seat."That was an amazing speech you gave." Ezra Said greeting me, while I sat down.
"Thank you."
"Let's say we get out of here." Ezra Said holding my hand.
"It's not over-" His look interrupted my from finishing my sentence. We both got up quietly, leaving the bright stage behind. We went to an empty room in the building, locking the door behind us. Ezra kissed my neck quickly, but slowly.
"Not here." I said stopping him.
"Why not?" He asked puzzled.
"Because. Can we just talk?"
"You don't want to marry me?"
"No, I never said that. This isn't even about the wedding."
"So we're still getting married?"
"The same day, and the same time." I said smiling. He let out a big sigh of relief.
"Thank god, but what do you want to talk about?"
"Nothing I just want to sit here with you privately, I couldn't take the pitiful, and the sorrow looks anymore." I sighed.
"I'm sorry,"
"I don't want your pity either." I said sitting up quickly. He looked at me, blinking blankly. I sat back down, breathing loudly.
"I love you." He whispered in my ear.
"I love you."
