"What happens now?"
"We have to break your bones, so they can form and heal properly. It's going to be a very painful time of your life." I didn't want to go through this again. I couldn't.
"But first, we need to get your baby out." They took me to the operating room for an emergency c-section. Ezra was right beside me with Danielle.
They numbed me from the chest down. They were cutting me and before I knew it they pulled out my baby. I heard it cry.
"It's a girl." Said the doctor. I didn't want to look at it, but when I did it was heaven. She looked just like Jade. Identical almost. As much as I didn't want the baby because it reminded me of what I been through, I couldn't give her up. She was my daughter, no matter what. By the looks of it, Ezra didn't care that it wasn't his. He had the fatherly look of love in his eyes when he saw her. Danielle was excited to be a big sister.
"She is absolutely gorgeous." Said Ezra, wiping away a tear.
"What are we naming her?" I asked. He smiled and said "Jaden Elaine. Jaden for Jade, and Elaine from your mother's middle name." He was an angel. He wiped away my tears and backed away as they took me back to my room.
When we got back to my room, it was different. I wasn't expecting Ezra to love and adore Jaden, but he did and it melted my heart. They gave me a week to heal and then they started fixing me.
