All I could hear was ringing in my ears. Danielle and Jaden. I wanted to call for them, but I couldn't. I looked around and winced at the pain coming from my whole body. I looked into the front mirror, there was no luck. It was broken into a million shards. I ignored my pain and turned around. Danielle wasn't moving. She had blood coming from her head and her side.
"Dani... Danielle. Honey." I was shaking her. Nothing.  She's not dead I thought. She couldn't be. I shook her some more, but there was still nothing. Her shirt was almost completely soaked in blood. I felt for a pulse, and I gulped. Nothing.

I looked at Jaden, she was fine. Nothing happened to her. I checked myself out, my leg was wrapped around metal parts. I was panicking. Where's my phone? I felt around for it, and I found it. I dialed Ezra's number and he picked up almost immediately.
"Hey."
"We're in a car accident. The kids and I. Danielle's not moving, and... I can't find a pulse." I cried. I couldn't hear him anymore. He was crying, I could hear it.
"Where... where are you?"
"I don't know. The bend in the road that leads to your house." I was still crying. He hung up. I called the police.
"911 what's your emergency?"
"I need an ambulance or something. I was in a car accident, and my daughter isn't moving."
"What's your location?"
"I... I don't know."
"We'll track down your location and send people out to help you." They hung up. I tried to shake Danielle again, but there was still nothing. I didn't want to, and I wasn't going to wrap my head around the fact that my daughter is no longer alive.

I was waiting slowly for someone to show up to help us. While I was waiting the song let it go played quietly in the background. I slammed on the radio to shut it up. The waiting made me tired, and I could feel my eyelids drooping. I closed my eyes, and I heard a faint voice.
"Bay!" He was trying to open my door. It was Ezra, he always came to my rescue. I wanted to try to open the door, but I couldn't move. It was like I was paralyzed. I tried to snap back into it but I couldn't.
"Bay. Bay baby, I'm going to get you and our daughters out of there." His British accent cried. I tried to reach out for him, but my hand wouldn't move. My blood was coming out quickly from my fatal injuries. My body ached and stunk like blood.

The sirens were loud and bright, there were many sirens actually. Too many to count at the moment. I think there was a fire truck, and an ambulance. Two people dressed in uniforms came over with a tool that I didn't recognize. They started cutting into the side of the car. The officers got the door off of Danielle's side. They pulled the door off, and pulled Danielle and Jaden out.
"I have one child alive." Said the one officer.
"And the other?" Asked the other one. He didn't say anything. Danielle was dead when they pulled her out of the vehicle. My head was turning, and I was screaming in it.

They took the door off of my side, and saw the metal wrapped around my leg. They then started quickly, but taking their time cutting the metal. My legs was free, and the one officer carried me out of the vehicle. I glanced around, looking for Ezra, and saw him beside Danielle holding her hand. He was crying so much, his whole face was puffy and red. They were shocking her heart trying to bring her back to life. One of the ambulance people shook their head.
"We need to move out. She's dead, but we can't stop. We need to bring her back to life, she has a whole life ahead of her." They shut the door and took off towards the hospital. Ezra punched one of the ambulances and screamed. I wanted to hold him tight and told him things would be alright, but I couldn't because nothing was alright anymore.

When I reached my ambulance, one doctor was yelling.
"She needs blood. Lots of blood, let's move out. Now!" Ezra was hunched into a ball rocking back and forth crying. They handed him Jaden and told him that she was perfectly fine.

I was slipping away, I could feel it. The bright light I saw in the abandoned basement was back again. I stared at it. It was so beautiful, and I could see Danielle dancing in it. I could hear her giggling. I smiled and whispered "Hello my old friend."
