The drive was long and quiet.
"Mommy I have to pee." Danielle said tugging at my sleeve.
"Can you hold it baby?"
"No." She whined. I looked at Jack who started at the road. I cleared my throat
"Can we pull over somewhere? Danielle has to pee."
"We're almost there."
"Please." Danielle cried. Jack looked at her, sighed and pulled over.
"Hurry up." He said impatiently.
"Don't try anything either." He warned.
We got out of the car and went to a private area so she could go to the bathroom.

"Mommy I don't like this guy, who is he?"
"That's Jades brother. Not your sister, but your aunts brother."
"That's uncle Jack?"
"No." I snorted.
"I wanna go home."
"Me too baby." I sighed. Ezra should have gotten the letter by now. We walked through the thick woods and met back up with Jack.
"About time, maybe next time you can have another twenty minutes." He said sarcastically. I rolled my eyes, and he grabbed me by the shirt.

"Excuse me?" He said violently.
"I'm sorry." I cried.
"If you do that again, I'll make sure you'll be six feet under in a wooden box! Do I make myself clear?" He yelled. I shook my head so fast, that everything around me was spinning. Jack practically threw Danielle and I in the car.

Danielle and I sat together hand in hand. Where was Ezra? Where was the police?
"Where are we going?" I asked. He didn't answer. I rolled my eyes and laid my head down against the window. I must have fallen asleep, because it was now dark outside. Dani was laying on my shoulder sleeping.

"Where are we?" I asked half asleep.
"Out of the state." He said is a soothe tone. I rolled back over and went back to sleep. During my sleep, I started to feel like I was floating.

I rolled over, and woke up laying beside Dani. I was in a room that I didn't recognize. The room look nice and clean, but yet dirty. There were no windows and an isolated door. I checked to make sure Danielle was still breathing, she was. The door to the room started to open.
"Hey beautiful." Jack said walking towards me. I stared at him, saying nothing. He shot a warning glance in my direction, and then looked at Dani.
"Hi." I said quickly, hoping to change his mind.
"How did you sleep?"
"Good, just wishing I had light in here."
"Hmmm. Maybe I'll get a lamp or something." None of us spoke then. The silence was killing me.

"What do you want with us anyways." I asked wryly. He shot another warning glance, and then smoothed his face out.
"I can remember that one time, when we were little. You were about 12." He laughed then continued "you and Jade were fighting over that one stupid Barbie doll."
"The beautiful brunette lifeguard one." We both said at the same time. He still continued to laugh.
"What?" I asked.
"Nothing. You were upset, because Jade had gotten it. You stormed off to the barn outback, and I had followed you to make sure you were ok." The memory was forming into my mind. I can't remember little things, but I remember what happened that day.
"Yeah." I said.
"When you saw that I had followed you to make sure you were ok, you cried, and walked away." He finished telling me the memory. I stayed quiet.

"I also remember the time you went to your first frat party. You were 16 at this time." He said shaking his head. "You were so stupid that night. Remember?"
"No." I said pinching my eyebrows together trying to remember. Nothing. I didn't really remember that night one bit.
"You and Dylan had broken up that night. He had told you that he didn't love you anymore. He hadn't loved you anymore after 3 years of being together. You were devastated, and ready for whatever could take your mind off of him." I was still confused on why he was telling me this.

"You drink everything in site, even tried pot." He shook his head some more causing anger to appear on his face. "You were wasted that night. You drank the stupid punch!" He shouted. I looked at Dani but she was still asleep.
"Yeah, what's wrong with that?"
"You were roofied. Do you remember any of this night?"
"No, only that Dylan and I had broken up, and that I went to a party." He shook his head some more.
"You were all over this college boy, he was over the age of 21. Anyways, you guys were making out and all over each other." Anger crossed his face again. "He started leading you upstairs," he paused.
"Tell me more!" I demanded.
"You followed him upstairs, into an empty bedroom." He stopped again. I was horrified, and he smile a little.
"Jack, what happened that night."
"I had followed you guys, to make sure you weren't going to do something you regretted. When I got in there, your clothes laid scattered across the floor." I didn't want to hear anymore, but I needed the whole story.
"Continue." I told him gulping.
"Anyways, when I was there, he was taking advantage of you." He clenched his teeth. My mind was swimming.
"Who was he?" I asked impatiently.
"I tried expressing my feelings to you many, many times. But you had rejected me. Even after I got you out of that stupid party. I kissed you, after we left the party."
"Who was he!" I demanded, afraid to hear the answer.
"He doesn't matter!" He hissed. From what I was seeing he knew exactly who he was. A wave of panic swept through me, as I started to think. I gasped.
"Ezra. Ezra Johnson."
