I sat there staring blankly, open mouthed. The memory was clear, running through my head like it just happened yesterday. Jack snapped his fingers in my face.
"We're not done yet."
"What more is there to tell me?" He shook his head.
"Things you missed out, or wasn't paying attention to." He said. I sat there waiting for him to continue.
"After I got you out of the party, I walked you home. You were crying, because of Dylan breaking up with you, so you thought you could hurt him by sleeping with someone." I suddenly became angry.
"Then that wasn't rape."
"But it was."
"How?"
"You were too drunk to actually give him consent." I Bit my tongue, but words were sliding out of my mouth.
"You don't know what happened that night between him and I."
"Yes I do."
"No, you weren't the one in bed with him. You have no clue what we talked about that night, or anything. You only saw what happened when we were in bed."

He was furious.
"He didn't love you, and he still doesn't. Anyways, on our walk, when you stopped crying, you told me when you graduate or whatever, you were going to become an actress." My mind switched back to that night.

We sat down on a bench, and I couldn't stop crying. Jack was comforting me, and placed his hand above my knee, and tried to kiss me. I rejected him. I remember telling him "no." And he still tried.
"No. Stop." I told him repeatedly, and got up to start walking. He then jumped up and apologized. "Please don't leave. I'm sorry." He walked towards me.
"Stay where you are. I'll get home on my own."
"You're drunk." He pleaded.
"I'll call a cab." I wiped away a tear.

That night had vanished from my mind.
"What else happened that night, between you and I."
"Nothing really." He shrugged his shoulders.
"Don't you dare lie to me." I said venomously. He sighed "you know."
"How could you?"
"I don't know. You were weak, and I know that it was bad timing, but I thought that was my chance."
"It doesn't matter now."
"It does, because you know something more about that night and incident, than I do." Jack said.
"I had a miscarriage, and I now know why." He looked at me impressed.
"But you already knew that." I said quietly. He shook his head. I sighed and waited for him to continue, but he didn't.
"What are you going to do to me and my daughter."

He didn't answer me, and Danielle woke up.
"I'm hungry." She whined. Jack smiled and disappeared out of the room.
"Where are we?" She asked.
"I don't know baby."
"I hate it here already."
"Me too, me too." I kissed her forehead.

Jack had came in, and brought us food.
"Thank you." We told him.
"No problem." He smiled. "I have to go though. So I'll see you in a little." He got back up and left. My leg vibrated, and I looked around to see what it was. My phone was in my shoe. I pulled it out and got onto it. It was blown up with messages from Ezra.
"Where are you?"
"Are you with Jack?"
"Did he hurt Danielle?"
"I'm never going to stop looking for you. I love you." I quickly texted back our code word "red." I looked up, and there stood Jack in the doorway. I gulped, as he made his way towards me. Jack took the phone from me and broke it In half. He shook his head, and punched me in the face. It knocked me down on the ground, making me think back to the past.

I walked through the door to my home. Ezra stood in the kitchen. When I walked through and he saw me, he ran and picked me up into a hug.
"Im so glad you're home now, for good." He kissed my forehead.
"I've missed you so much Ezra."
"We need code words for whenever you, or I get into a situation we can't talk, or text a lot."
"If I ever get into a situation with Jack again, and I only get a little bit of time to talk to you, the words going to be red, okay." He flinched and then shook his head.
"If Danielle ever gets into trouble, or hurt, the color will be green." He told me. Then I flinched.
"Okay." He kissed me.
"I can't ever lose you again. Ever."
"You won't, I promise."
"Forever."
"Forever." I smiled.
