I haven't had the chance to visit London until Christmas and even that was thanks to an interview for my new up-coming movie.

"You have to come as soon as possible!", Thomas yelled in the phone. "Christmas lights are magical in London!"

He was so excited when I told him about my visit.

After the filming for The Maze Runner franchise was over, we met again for some interviews and "meet and greet" sessions, but we couldn't and we wouldn't show affection in front of everyone.

We were not even sure what kind of a couple we are; IF we were a couple. What kind of a couple you are if you see each other just a couple of times a year?

But this time was different. This time was about some different project and about meeting just him.

"I am sure Christmas is great there, Thomas. But it's just before holidays, they could have schedule it after that", I complained.

"What's that supposed to mean?", he laughed. "Don't you want to spend Christmas with me?"

I rolled my eyes at his words, laughing too.

"That's not what I...", I started to say but he just cut me off.

"Then it's settled. You're going to stay for Holidays."

My eyes went wide hearing his statement.

"What do you mean -holidays-?"

"Christmas and New Year's eve of course", he giggled.

I smiled and shook my head in amusement at that. But then, why not? Lately I felt like I haven't seen him in ages and I missed him so much. We could spend some quality time together these days; just the two of us. I felt chills down my spine only thinking about being with him again.

"Fine, I'll come", I finally said and he giggled like a kid. "But be sure you'll find me a comfy hotel near hour place."

"Hotel ?! Are you kidding, right? You're going to stay at my place and no excuses are accepted!"

Laughing, I agreed with that also and he made it very clear that he's going to be waiting for me at the airport in the day of my arrival.

"Well I can't wait to see you again, Y/N", Thomas finally said.

"I'll see you in a couple of days!"

I hung up the phone still smiling. Thomas was always able to make me smile and something about him made me feel safe. I knew I could trust him and his instincts with everything and I wouldn't be sorry after that.

He was a perfect British Gentleman; always opening the doors for the ladies, saying "please" and "thank you" when requesting something, being a careful man and a responsible friend.

But he had to be that way. His mother raised him well and made sure he understood that he's become the head of the family after his father left.

Days passed by easily as I was busy with another interviews, but the big day has finally come and here I am, standing in a crowded Airport in London and looking for Thomas.

~I'm here~ I texted him after a couple of minutes of walking around and not finding him.

~Come outside. There's a green vintage Citroen in front of the entrance~ he replied.

I raised a brow in confusion. I must tell Thomas I am not good with cars.

As I grabbed my luggage and went outside the airport, I started to look around for a green car. That's right, a green car parked somewhere near the entrance must have been his; I couldn't recognize the brand anyway.

But then someone grabbed my shoulders and turned me around, hugging me. I heard Thomas' laugh and I hugged him back, burying my nose in the crook of his neck. His scent filled my nostrils and I closed my eyes, being taken a few months back in my hotel room in Cape Town when all of this started.

"Welcome to London, Y/N!", he greeted me and took my luggage, leading me toward his car.

He opened the door of the front seat and motioned for me to get in while he put my luggage on the backseat. I did as I was told and patiently waited for him to get in.

When he finally joined me and we took off, he turned on the radio for some music.

"Thank you for coming and spending the holidays with me", he then said smiling.

"Thank you for letting me stay!", I laughed.

Thomas turned to the right to exit the Airport area when a sudden panic struck me.

"Thomas, stop!", I screamed.

He pressed the brake so hard that I almost hit my head.

"What is it?!", he looked at me scared.

"You're on the wrong side of the road!", I said pointing in front of us, making him understand that we were on the left side of the road, not the right one.

His eyes widened at first but then he burst out laughing.

"Love, this is England. We drive on the left side."

I looked at him confused before realizing he was right. Car horns were heard behind us so Thomas started to drive again, still giggling.

"I'm sorry!", I said embarrassed.

"That's ok, you'll get used."

The ride to his home was not long, but we got to see some of the Christmas decorations and main buildings in London. I watched outside the car's window the whole time, asking Thomas tons of questions. But he patiently answered all of them.

"Don't spoil everything, Y/N. We're going to see the lights in the evenings. That's when the real magic shows up.", he winked at me.

"I can't wait to visit the city, Thomas!", I said excited.

"We will, don't worry!"

His house was just outside London, in a beautiful countryside. It wasn't snow yet, but Thomas assured me that it will snow soon.

He parked his car in front of the porch and helped me to get my luggage.

He then grabbed my hand and leaded me inside the house, his steps following mine.
