Regret( Damon's P.O.V)

I leave the building and got inside my car. I get my phone and I call Carlo.

" Carlo, you owe me."

" Oh, it's you Damon. She kicked you out?"

" Not only that, you should have told me she would cry as she kicked me out."

" She did what? She really has tried to be perfect in her job and her family. I told you that you first should have given her time. What did you do exactly?"

" I said I was sorry and gave her my explanation. Why is she like she is now, Carlo? She looked angry, when she saw me."

" Well, she tried to keep herself happy, but her mother finally managed to change her. If you haven't done whatever you did, she would be like before."

" I know and I'm sorry for what I did. Would you like to help me see her again?"

" Now way. I'm sure she told her secretary that you can't enter or leave anything their again."

" Please, Carlo. I just need another chance."

" Maybe I can trick her into going to a restaurant or something, but not in her office."

" Thanks, my friend. Well, I have to find a way to thank you."

" How about saying why my future wife is mad about you coming back?"

" Is she now?"

" Yep. She said that you are to stay away from our home. Would you mind explaining why?"

" I think she really was Luna's friend, Carlo. Well, I gotta call you later."

I hang up and drive to the forest. I leave the car where it is and turn into a kitsune. I arrive at the kingdom and the people are excited. My parents see my expression and wonder what's wrong. We walk to the throne room and I start explaining.

" I visited Luna and she was not as happy to see me."

" Damon, we told you to forget that girl!"

" You forget that I'm king, mother."

" I don't forget, but you saw how she acted with you around. Don't risk it anymore and marry another kitsune. There are many beautiful kitsune women in this colony only."

" No, father. I lost her because of a careless action and I will not stop till she understands the truth."

" What did she do?"

" Cry as she kicked me out."

" Exactly, son. She's hurt still and will try hard to maintain her emotions away."

" Then give me advice."

" Fine. Why don't you give her time first of all. I don't mean to ignore or stalk her either. Make her remember what the relationship was like. Then, you just be yourself and it might help for her to go back to turning into a kitsune."

" But how? She has stopped doing so three years ago?"

" Well, you might want to first forget about the advice your father is giving, son. Don't forget that I'm a female and it's likely that I will give better advice."

" True, mother. Go on."

" Make the alliance with the wolf clan smaller and do nice things for her. Start out small. Maybe try to make her mother see her daughter's ancient point of view. That might help you win her heart again."

I nod and walk back to the forest. I am on tree and let all the regret feeling haunt me. I hurt her and won't make the same mistake once more. Her crying image comes back and I feel worse.
