After Damon exited the cafe, a tree was ashes after a fireball hit it. I turned to where the tree used to be at, but my eyes wandered to a bench. The memories of when Damon and I went there return and a smile climbs up. I am happy for a second, but Max puts his hand in mine. I look back to where our hands are and I feel nothing. I left the cafe and went home.)
" Mom, I'm going back to New York soon."
" Why? I thought you were happy here."
" Well, it's hard to explain."
" You can't forget Damon, can you?"
" No. I feel nothing for Max and I need to see Karin quickly. She'll know what to do."
" I say she will say that you can't make yourself someone you love by force, but if you want to go to hear the same thing, then go and see for yourself."
" Where's father? I need to say goodbye."
" In his office. He is working on a case and won't return home till two more nights."
( she goes to his office and says goodbye. She returns and finishes packing. She gets on the first plane the next morning and is sure Karin will know the solution.)
- Skip time to where she is at Karin's home speaking with the now married Karin -
" Karin, I need to confess something."
" You can't forget Damon."
" Yeah. I know I should, but I simply can't."
" Luna, I'm your friend, but if you return to transforming into a kitsune, then I will have to attack you. I can't put our friendship before my kingdom."
" Does Carlo know yet?"
" Yeah, I told him in our honeymoon. We went to my kingdom for that. He was surprised, but accepted it quick."
" So he's the king of the wolves now?"
" Yes, I need to give him protection though. He wants me to turn him into one of us, but I'm afraid to so it."
" If he's sure, then I think it is for the best."
" Weren't we talking about you? Don't try and avoid the topic again, Luna."
- Skip time to where Luna is walking home three nights after the talk during night time-
I am walking home after a long time of working, when I see shadows around me.
" Who's there?"
" So the kitsune girl wants to be attacked again."
The voice comes from the trees, but when I look more carefully, I see nothing. I fasten the pace, but soon am surrounded.
" Show yourselves!"
" We already did, fox."
A leader steps forward and it seems like Karin in werewolf form. The large shape bares its teeth and gets ready to attack. I tense up, but don't know how to turn to a kitsune anymore. Suddenly, another shadow appears on a tree and the red hair looks familiar somehow.

" Karin, why go back to attacking humans?"
" Kitsune king! Why have you decided to break the treaty?"
The wolves make way for Damon and he steps in front of me.
" I had no choice, wolf. You were going to kill my queen."
" She is just another human. You can't make her the queen. Also, she was our lunch."
" She will leave safely, wolf. I won't permit you to harm her."
" Just try and keep her alive, fox."
Damon puts his arms around me and I feel safe. He looks at me and tells me to turn.
" I don't know how."
" Just image yourself as one, Luna. It's just like I told you before."
" I can't, Damon. I haven't been a kitsune for three years."
" Well, if you don't, then it will be hard to get you away from this attack alive."
