Anger And Jealousy( Damon's P.O.V)

After the dinner, Carlo and his girlfriend said that Luna went home sick. I tried to talk with her again, but when I went to her office, I was told she went home for some quiet time.

( two months passed and I made myself forget about my regret by being in my kingdom. I told the humans that I was away in a business trip, but when I went to the colony, I knew I would not be advised to leave again for awhile.)

" King Damon, when will we meet with the werewolf clan?"

" In a week. Now, have you done your second task?"

" Yes, King. She is seen with a human several times. We think they are in a relationship."

" No, it can't be true. I was sure she was only saying it to keep me away."

" King, is anything the matter?"

I feel jealousy, but feel the need to see for myself, if what she says is true.

" Nothing. Is there anything else I need to do?"

" No, King Damon. Every duty you were required to do has already been done yesterday."

" Good, go bring me my adviser."

" Yes, my king."

As I wait, confusion doesn't leave. If Luna is with someone after a long time, I must be the cause for that.

" King?"

" Oh, adviser. I have something I can't decide on."

" Whether or not to see if the rumors are true?"

" Yes. I want to see for myself, but I don't want to make it known to my parents."

" Leave now, king. I'll tell anyone that asks that you went hunting in a forest for two days."

" Thanks, but how will I leave without being seen?"

" Use your magic, king. It's more powerful than ours."

I nod and leave the kingdom. I arrive in the town and search for her. I spot her with a guy and jealousy kicks in. I make myself look human and walk in the cafe they are entering. They sit in the last table available and I use that as a chance to confirm my doubts.

" Hi. Would you mind, if I sit with you two? It seems there aren't any more available."

" Of course not, pal. Sit and I'll introduce myself."

" Thanks."

Luna looks down and her companion wastes no time to start talking.

" Well, I'm Max and this is Luna."

" Is she your friend or finance?"

" Girlfriend. Isn't it right, Luna?"

The waitress arrives then and they order their drinks. After she's gone, Max turns to her and she speaks, while looking down.

" Oh, sure."

" What's wrong, Luna? You seem depressed or something."

" Nothing, Max. I just don't feel 100% well today."

" Oh. Well, Damon, tell us more about yourself."

" I would love to, but I need to go now. You see, I'm a businessman and I simply needed a break."

" I understand, Damon. Hope we see each other sometime."

I nod and leave the place. I wait till I'm in a abandoned alley, when I turn into myself. Jealousy and anger explodes then and I make a fireball hit a tree. It turns to ash soon and people look in my direction. I make myself invisible, walk back to where they are and see Max talking to Luna. She simply nods, but her eyes wonder to where I'm standing. As if she could see me, she smiles a bit and her eyes look happy for a second.
