Happy Ending

Two years have passed after the wedding and honeymoon. I am now the queen of kitsunes and the legend of my power growth is now widely known in almost every kingdom. I earned four more tails during the years and my husband five more. He is now a fourteen tailed kitsune and I a thirteen tailed kitsune. It is rare for a kitsune to have more than nine tails. I decide to hide the four tails and Damon usually hides his other five tails. Of course, we show them in battlefields to make the other kingdoms see our kingdom is powerful and this fear helps us win the wars.

" My love, what are you doing looking at the moon?"

I look away from the moon after hearing Damon's voice. I smile as he sits beside me and puts our hands together.

" The full moon reminds me of the wedding. Remember we had it during a full moon because you said it would make my goddess appearance more obvious?"

" And it certainly did, my moon goddess."

" Damon, you have not changed. I can't believe you showed so much affection in front of everyone during the ceremony. I was red almost the entire time."

" And I would not go back and do anything differently if I could. On second thought, I might only show you more love and see how your beautiful face turns red."

I laugh and lay my head on his shoulder. He puts his free arm around me and we look at the moon for a few more hours. After we enter the palace, I start to feel the need to vomit. I pull our hands away and run to our bedroom. After I throw up for the fifth time this week, I walk out and see him worried, sitting on the bed.

" Are you sure you are feeling well, Luna? It isn't natural to feel bad this much. We can go to the nurses now to see what's wrong."

" No, Damon. It must simply be food poisoning."

" Luna, I am not going to see you vomit without doing anything. We are going to the nurses this instant."

" Alright, if it will make you feel safer."

He picks me up before I can walk to the door and after he knocks on the door, he lets me down. The doors open instantly and after seeing us, they tell us to come in quickly. After being checked by five nurses and a healer, they inform Damon of the results.

I get back to him and he is staring at me with joy. Confused, I walk up to him ask what the nurses said.

He suddenly picks me up and starts turning me around. After turning me around several times, he puts me down and kisses me.

" Damon, were the results so great that you are in an excellent mood?"

" Definitely. The result was that you are pregnant! We'll have a little prince or princess!"

" Really?!"

" Yes, my goddess!"

I'm shocked, but happy with the news. I never expected this to happen this soon.

Five months pass after the great news and Damon has been overprotective. He assigned ten royal guards and three maids. I am never unsupervised and everything I eat or drink is checked first.

" My love, how are you feeling today?"

" Great. Where are we going today?"

" I am going to meet the fairies. We need their alliance in case a kingdom challenges us."

" Okay. I'll go too."

" No, you won't. I want you to be relaxed and around the maids to help you in case you need anything. You were told to rest and take things slow."
