"didn't we talk about this before?"
from across the couch in their dorm's living room, hyunjin stared at his same-aged friend, seungmin. seungmin shook his head.
"are you sure?" hyunjin asked, "i swear we talked about this awhile ago."
seungmin shook his head again, "perhaps we did, but that isn't the point. jeongin is becoming overly attached to rosey, in my opinion."
hyunjin looked perplexed at the boy.
"attached?"
seungmin confirmed the boy's question with a hesitant nod. the abrupt sound of a door closing caught the two off guard. however, after glancing at one other in surprise, they dismissed it as minho becoming irritated with keeping his door open as usual.
hyunjin scoffed and exhaled.
"sure, sure. jeongin is not "attached", not a healthy tactic. let's not confuse treating your girlfriend right with being attached."
"that's not what i mean," seungmin said defectively.
hyunjin rose from the couch and extended his arms in front of him. he yawned quickly and gazed down at the boy.
"but it sounds like it."
hyunjin started walking away from his friend, heading inside his shared room. seungmin trailed behind the tall boy, trying to defend his comments as the door closed behind him.
rosey and jeongin were bickering over her phone in the room next to hyunjin's. she was reaching over his body, attempting to retrieve her phone, which he was holding out away from her.
"jeongin, please give me my phone!"
this wasn't your typical bickering; it was nothing short of playful. both of them were smiling, and laughter could be heard on the other side of the closed bedroom door.
after seeing the screen light up, rosey spoke up, "someone's calling."
jeongin looked over at her phone in his hand and read the contact name. despite rosey's protests, he answered the phone and placed it to his ear with a laugh.
"hello!" jeongin spoke excitedly.
rosey put down her hands and rested them on jeongin's free hand, which had been defending himself from her grasp. she became quiet, and she could hear whispering coming from her phone.
"jeongin?"
"yeah."
"why are you picking up rosey's phone?" with a laugh, the individual who asked waited.
jeongin turned to his girlfriend, a smirk on his face. she immediately knew who it was and why he had such a playful expression on his face.
"rosey has been taunting me all day, ms. song, saying she has something to show me on her phone and then never showing me! she's been fighting me all day!"
