"it appears to be crowded, but i believe you guys will be fine out there." the manager explained.

at one of their tour venues, the group had just finished their concert as well as their chaotic post-show live. despite the fact that they could enter the building without being noticed, leaving was always more difficult than anticipated.

it would not only be dark and cold because of the bad weather, but it would also be noisy. this was not something that any of the members of the group were looking forward to.

"do we have a clear path for them to take?"

rosey overheard two staff members conversing on the other side of the thin wall.

"not really, it's clear enough."

rosey swallowed dryly. she hadn't admitted it to any of her members, but the way she stuck around close to the nearest member, hyunjin, indicated her nervousness.

hyunjin didn't question it; he already knew.

"everyone, come on." the manager said as he waved them on, "we have to be careful, there might not be a completely clear path."

everyone appeared to be nervous, but they all seemed to comprehend the situation. only jisung glanced over at rosey repeatedly to see if she was alright.

she was fine until she was forced to let go of hyunjin's arm in order to "safely" travel to the van that would take them to their hotel.

rosey heard their fan's screams as the first member walked out into the public eye, then she saw hands reaching out for them, and finally she looked up to see the entire crowd.

she simply covered her ears to drown out the loud screams and clicks of the cameras attempting to capture up-close shots of the idols.

jisung looked back at her; if anyone knew what she was going through, it was him.

jisung was unable to get her attention when he called for her. he extended his hand, but it was quickly moved out of the way by an unobservant security guard.

rosey wouldn't have been able to see or hear him anyway, because the noises had been muffled by her hands covering her ears and her gaze had been fixed on the ground for several minutes.

she began to feel pressure on her chest and throat, as if someone was pressing down on her. someone else also grabbed her sweater and pulled one side down, exposing her shoulder.

she was too afraid to move her hands away from her ears to pull it up.

not only did she feel physical pressure, but she also felt dizzy. she was on the verge of crying and her vision had become blurry.

all she could think about was how long they were walking to the van, which was right outside, and how far they had to walk.

rosey's breathing became increasingly rapid, almost to the point of hyperventilation. because her heart was beating so fast, it felt like it was about to leap out of her chest.

she eventually mustered the courage to remove her hands from her ears, allowing the unwanted noises in.

she didn't know who it was, but she reached out to whichever member was in front of her.

jisung turned his head and drew rosey to his side as quickly as he could. he tried everything he could to calm her down; he didn't know what techniques jeongin would use with her, so he used his own ideas for his own anxiety.

he could see how quickly she was breathing, how her hand was resting on the collar of her sweater, as if it were restricting her breathing, and how she could barely walk straight due to her dizziness.

"you're okay, i promise." jisung whispered to the girl as they passed through the crowd.

rosey only remembered jisung holding her tightly as they walked, then suddenly sitting in the van with him, attempting to converse with her. it was as if she had completely blacked out during the time between.

rosey was still shaken up by everything.

before rosey snapped back to reality, jisung texted jeongin, asking what he could do to keep rosey grounded. his fingers darted across the screen.

"use breathing techniques, they always helps."

"and do them with her. don't just tell her to breathe, it adds on to the anxiety."

jisung quickly read the message.

"breathe with me." jisung said after noticing the girl's unbalanced breathing pattern.

they both took slow, deep breaths.

"speak nice to her too, she will definitely say sorry. please let her know it's okay that this happened."

jisung heeded the advice and spoke softly to her, assuring her that everything would be fine.

"i'm sorry." rosey said, just as jeongin predicted.

"no, don't say that. i understand how terrified you were." jisung said as he fixed the girl's shirt.

rosey felt much better when she fully grasped the reality that she was in the van riding down the road. she fiddled with her rings, as she always did when she was stressed.

the awkward silence filled the moving vehicle until jisung spoke up again to say something else.

"when we get to the hotel, try to get some sleep," jisung advised, "it was a stressful day."

rosey smiled shyly as she nodded. she appreciated that he was there to care for her, especially since he could relate the best. however, she didn't want this to be the way that he had to take care of her, through an anxiety attack.
