after a long flight, stray kids arrived in sydney, australia. rosey was ecstatic to be in bang chan and felix's home country. she would take advantage of the opportunity to learn about the area and her member's childhood.
rosey dozed off for the duration of the flight. she couldn't stop talking about how excited she was to be landing somewhere across the ocean that happened to be one of her members' hometown. she skipped around the airport after they exited the plane.
her high spirits were quickly shattered when they were greeted with loud screams and camera flashed as they exited the airport. because there were so many people surrounding the exit doors, her anxiety began to rise.
she had no idea how these people knew they were going to land today. how could they have discovered them on a private scheduled flight? their personal space had been completely invaded and the start of their journey had been complicated.
rosey's hands were gripping the hem of jisung's shirt and he was standing in front of her, head down. despite his own anxiety, he turned his head towards her and began to stand protectively in front of her.
they eventually split up into two separate vans. she sat silently in her seat for the rest of the ride. however, by the time they arrived at their hotel, she had returned to her hyper state.
this would be her first performance since the attack and she didn't want anything to detract from her excitement.
the following few days were frantic. their performance included a lot of running around, jumping, and other activities. it was a lot of fun for her and she wishes she could go back in time to do it all over again. her energy would be drained by the end of the day, but it felt great to get it all out.
the group had plenty of free time on their final day in australia. because it was a warm and sunny evening, they all decided to spend the day at the pool.
rosey liked to swim, but not in the ocean. it was terrifying to think about what was hidden beneath the surface of the water. in a pool, on the other hand, she was constantly going back and forth.
she was still standing in the shallow ends of the pool, waiting to fully immerse herself in the icy water. her medium-length hair was tied back in a bun and her palms were open and hovering above the water. hyunjin entered the pool behind her and splashed water, the cold making her tense.
"it's really cold!" rosey yelled.
the next thing she felt was a pair of arms wrap around her and pull her under the water. they both quickly resurfaced and as she wiped the water from her face, she heard the boy who did it laugh. when rosey turned around, she saw hyunjin smiling and combing his wet hair back.
she began splashing water in his face, causing him to be unable to open his eyes as he laughed and yelled for her to stop. when they both calmed down, the other members joined them in the pool.
the 00' line appeared to be at odds with each other as they started a massive splash attack game.
"hey, hey!" their leader yelled, "let's do something other than splash each other!"
in annoyance, the 00' line came to a halt, with small splashes here and there. chan proposed racing to the other end of the pool. they all agreed and quickly lined up at the pool's right wall. rosey sat out of the recess because her swimming techniques were not the best.
she was a slow swimmer. . .
overall, she wishes she could redo the entire trip ten times over. the pool, the nice weather, the new scenery, and the new fans they got to meet all added up to an unforgettable vacation for her.
