"oh my god, look!" rosey exclaimed excitedly to her members as she gazed out the large airport windows.
"it's beautiful!" she'd been saying for hours, ever since the plane took off.
the group, stray kids, had traveled to thailand for a concert. only minutes after landing in the foreign country, the nine of them were standing in the crowded airport.
rosey remarked to herself as she stood in front of the large glass windows, "it's like a new world."
many fans greeted them as they exited the building. people began taking pictures, videos, and calling out their names as the group came to sight. her thoughts wandered to the anxious thoughts that were arising. the camera clicks and bright snaps of the lights were gradually overwhelming her.
chan, their leader, was talking with the manager about what they should do next. rosey's head jerked around as she heard her name yelled sharply.
"song nabi! song nabi-yah!" a fan holding a camera waved to the idol who had noticed her.
rosey's sleeve covered hand waved shyly jacket to the young boy in the crowd. the fan is now jumping with delight as a result of the interaction. rosey returned her gaze to chan, who had approached the group and was explaining their next steps.
she trailed behind her members, gaining enough confidence to walk with her head up, wave to the fans surrounding them, and say soft hellos to the fans who surrounded them.
stray kids were loaded into separate vans. rosey boarded the first van with jeongin, minho, and felix. her instinct was to look out the window at the beautiful sky and trees as they drove away from the parking lot. the manager quickly drew the black curtain back to conceal the idols from the public eye.
she was disappointed by her manager's actions. her arms were crossed across her chest and her lips formed a sad pout.
"don't be grumpy, we'll be out in a few minutes." felix nudged her on the shoulder with his hand.
as he touched her arm, her gaze was drawn to him.
"all i want to do is look out the window!" she exclaimed.
"we'll be able to admire the view soon because we have a show, aren't you excited?" minho inquired from the backseat.
she nodded her head and widened her eyes at his question, "yes, i am!"
the four members in the van used the remaining few minutes of the drive to unwind. rosey was the first one out of the van, with her small bag slung over her shoulder, when they arrived at the hotel.
despite being the first one out of the vehicle, she trailed behind the rest of the group. her manager escorted her to the room where she would be staying alone.
rosey slowly opened the door and turned on the lights with the hotel door key. her gaze wandered around the room and she thought it was quite pretty. she left her bag on the floor beside her bed as she exited to find her group members.
rosey walked into the room next to her own, where jisung was staying. the boy smiled as he looked over at her girl.
"tour!" she exclaimed, her arms thrown into the air.
she couldn't wait for this show and the opportunity to meet their thai fans. rosey was overjoyed at the prospect of a new location, new people, and new songs to perform.
