Lola let off an unneeded scream of pain as she jumped through the barrier. But nothing happened, her insides didn't turn into some sort of hot stew, her eyes didn't pop out of her head like she thought they might and her fingers and toes still seemed to be attached.

Lola was somewhat surprised as the knot in her mouth fell out by her widened mouth. "Cool," she said smiling as she looked down the hallways.

A lump soon formed in her throat, her stomach seemed to play the part of a Scottish bagpipe and her heart the base drum. She found it hard to breathe as her trembles came back gradually, with a shaky breath she blew on her hands in an attempt of comfort.

She heaved a sigh as she managed to pick up the metal bar that ricocheted from the ring of light, it was scorching hot, but she didn't let it go as she walked down the hallway and looked at the exit door; it seemed to be a thick wooden door with a small bared window. Lola pressed her ear against it and tried to listen for something. She could hear voices, stomping to be exact, "I heard something," it was the male Angel.

Lola breathed in a gasp as she heard someone grab the handle of the door, "what?" Romi asked.

"The door, Romi, I heard one of the doors open," he informed.

"Are you sure?" Romi asked, her voice was still high pitch and cheery despite the confusion behind the question.

"Of course I'm sure, they practically screech when they open," he snapped as he pushed against the doors, Lola could feel it moving, she jumped back.

"How could you possibly hear it?" Romi asked and the door stopped.

"There's one thing all Angels have in common newbie, we have sensitive senses, we can hear better, see better and smell things better than most, you got that newbie?" he asked.

Lola didn't hear Romi say anything, so she suspected she just nodded.

Lola leaned against the wall as the door opened, the male Angel opened the door, and he didn't even look down the way Lola was, and walked to the cell Lola was meant to be in.

Lola managed to push herself to her feet and slipped through the door slowly, she looked down the hallways as she backed into the doorway. When she was fully through she heard the Angel curse, she turned and was ready to run when she ran straight into Romi. The force sent the two of them back staggering, Lola staggered so much her back slammed into the door and it locked automatically.

She jumped as she looked at door and then Romi, who had run into the stairs. She blinked several times as her eyes adjusted to Lola standing there. She stood up; Lola froze as she heard someone thumping against the door. She turned and saw the male Angel's face looking through it, he went wide eyed when he saw Lola, "how did you get out?" he yelled, he looked at Romi, "Romi, don't let her escape," he demanded.

Romi nodded, "okay," she said, too quickly for Lola to react, Romi grabbed Lola's sore arm right around the bandage. Lola screamed as she pulled against Romi's death grip, but she didn't budge.

"Romi, open the door," he instructed.

Lola watched as Romi reached for the door, Lola smashed Romi's hand with the metal bar, she winced as she retracted her hand and let go of Lola to aid her hand.

"Forgive me, Romi," Lola said as she swung the bar, it hit Romi on the back and she fell over.

Romi's eyes started tearing up as she managed to sit up, she screeched even louder in what seemed like even more agonising pain to what Lola had hit her with.

The male Angel screamed Romi's name as he started shoulder barging the door.

Lola stared in horror as Romi leaned on the wall gasping and her hands were trembling. Lola screeched when she saw her eyes, they seemed to be burning. Lola dropped the bar and ran up the stairs just as the male Angel broke through the door, he didn't chase after Lola, he went straight to Romi.
