Lola stared at the church with frozen hands.

Elinor had fallen off the roof...

Lola felt Annika jump off her shoulder. Lola couldn't feel her knees as she fell to her knees.

Annika glanced at her, Lola softly hugged her arms as she stared wide eyed at the ground. Annika kneeled down beside her, "she isn't dead," Annika informed.

Lola went wide eyed, "she isn't?"

Annika shook her head as she looked over her shoulder, "they're still here," she stated.

Lola followed her gaze, she could see the heads of trolls in the distance and the black and white of the different types of Angels fighting each other.

Annika stood up, "I'll go finish off the job," Annika informed as she got up and walked to the edge of the roof, she took one step off the rooftop and disappeared. Lola jumped as she got to her feet and ran to the edge of the roof and looked down. Annika landed elegantly on the ground and ran forwards. Lola went wide eyed as she looked around for some way to get to the ground. She, herself, walked to a ladder at the end of the roof and practically slid down it, cutting her fingers several times.

"Annika, wait up!" Lola called as she managed to get to the ground.

She ran as fast as she could over to Annika, who stopped before the church. Lola walked over and stared at Elinor, lying on the ground. She was barely breathing, her body looked so... broken. Her leg was twisted one way while her arm was forced another, her eyes stared at the sky, the arrow in her chest.

"How is she still alive?" Lola asked as she looked to the roof.

Annika kneeled down to her, "because we didn't break her," she informed, "we broke the human." She pulled the arrow out of Elinor's chest, a loud sigh escaped her lips.

"How do we umm... kill her?" Lola asked leaning on her knees.

"We break her Dark Crystal," she said as she pulled something from under Elinor's shirt, it was similar to the one Annika showed her earlier. It was a small crystal in a silver lock.

Annika held the crystal in her hand and started to close her hand. Elinor's arms suddenly shot up and death gripped Annika's and pulled her close. Lola let off a scream of sudden fear as she jumped up and took a step back.

"You cannot kill me," Elinor's voice was inhuman, it sounded more like nails on a chalk board or a deep hiss then an actual voice, "I cannot be killed!" Annika struggled in her grip as Elinor grabbed her collar and pulled her head towards her, "I will not be killed!"

Annika suddenly made a loud mixture of a gasp and a grunt, like a sick puppy. Annika suddenly fell to the side and rolled on her back, a dagger in her stomach.

Lola screamed a high pitch squeal as she jumped back further. Annika's hands were pressing around the dagger as she struggled to breathe.

Lola was panting as she watched Elinor splutter and cough, her skin looked like giant lady bugs were trying to burrow out of her skin, her back came off the ground by the force of her spasm and her skin started stretching and even taring to reveal dull grey skin. Her limbs got longer in the human skin, eventually ripping the skin altogether, her legs became more stingy, her arms more bony and her clothes she wore fell in on themselves from her sickly thin body.

She gave off a loud scream as a coating of black bees came over Elinor from what seemed like complete darkness. Lola stared with wide eyes as she held her breath, the coating of bees got bigger and bigger around Elinor, until a long fingered, bony hand broke through the surface, the rest of her body followed like a butterfly escaping a cocoon.
