The trees below were coming closer and closer with every attempt of a Dark Angel's grab. Lola was so close to hitting the canopy so many times during the Dark Angel's deadly game of 'Catch the Ragdoll.'

Lola was feet first as she shot down like a bullet, and soon landed on the back of one of the flying Dark Angels. It was like landing on cement ground, Lola felt her legs cripple and her whole body practically get flipped as what she landed on for a split second flew away and she continued to fall head first again.

Lola sighed with somewhat boredom as she continued to fall, the whole world upside down to her.

Someone suddenly grabbed her ankle and Lola was jerked to the side as flew through the air. Any and all adrenaline and fear was out of her system now as she was dropped once again.

Lola sighed as she continued to fall, another Dark Angel suddenly grabbed the back of her shirt collar, which choked her as she was jerked up. Lola coughed when she could, she sneered as she looked at the ugly face that held her. "This is ridiculous," Lola informed as she pried the hands holding her collar open and she was dropped, this time within metres of the forest canopy.

Lola was hoping she was falling quick enough so another Dark Angel wouldn't grab her.

Lola felt the wind in her face, the hair flying above her and all air running up her skirt, through her shirt and nipping at her face and ears. Lola crashed into the canopy with nothing by an elegant splash.

But beneath, Lola was anything but.

She landed from one branch to another, crashing, losing her balance and only stopped falling when she got entangled in some vines and landed on a bushy leafy branch. Lola was huffing and puffing now as she ripped the vines wrapped around her waist and one that had looped around her ankle. Lola's ankle was forced into the air as the rest of her continued to try and fall, the vine stretched slightly and soon Lola was just dangling there by her foot.

Lola groaned as she reached up, trying to get in sync with her bobbing up and down softly. When Lola managed to untangle her ankle, the vine snapped back to it's original place and Lola continued to fall before crashing onto a thick branch that winded her as she laid there.

Lola coughed softly as she forced herself to sit up, satisfied that she wasn't paralysed.

Lola cursed herself for not getting one of the Dark Angels to come down to the ground. Lola slowly managed to get to her wobbly feet and tried to balance on the branch. Lola cautiously walked to the trunk of the tree, partly blinded by the darkness, and hugged it.

When she could, she found somewhere to start climbing.

But in the dark, it was hard.

And by the time Lola got to the top of the trees and was looking around, everything and everyone was gone. No more explosions and the singing had gone elsewhere and Lola could hear it going away from her. Lola sighed as she sank back into the canopy and sat back down on one of the branches below.

Lola could feel how tired she was, and could suddenly feel the urge to cry.

Lola softly bashed her head against the trunk of the tree and was soon staring at the stars through the gaps in the canopy; the cold was beginning to get to her now that the warmth of what seemed like a thousand explosions was gone.

Lola could feel herself beginning to shiver; slowly the cold was beginning to become almost unbearable as she blew softly on her hand.

"No time to rest," Lola mumbled as she made herself get up, her shivering legs made it hard to stand up properly. Lola looked to the hidden sky and started slowly making her way. If she was such a big deal, some of them would still be looking for her.
