Annika stood over the tranquil Lola, holding her limp head by the string of the necklace. When Lola's body blacked out she was huffing and puffing in unsatisfied anger, a headache was brewing because of the blow to her head.

She was breathing heavily through gritted teeth in anger; she wanted to rip Lola's head off, right there, right then and throw it against a tree or smash it with a hammer like a watermelon!

She let go of the strings holding Lola's choking hold and watched as she dropped to the ground. A thin red line circled her neck from where the string had strangled her; there were even a couple of spots where some blood was shedding.

Annika's mood was quick to change from hatred to neutral, to a twinge of horror, back to disinterested as she sighed, she kneeled down to Lola and carefully sat her up, letting her lean on her lap and checked her pulse; she still had one. "...That's good right?" Annika wondered as she grabbed both strings and tied them around her neck, the pearl that the string was tied to glisten slightly and then just sat there like a regular pearl.

Annika softly laced the pearl around her fingers; she could feel it vibrating softly and sense the fear it was radiating. She gave it a soft kiss, "I sorry, I'm sorry... I promise, I won't hurt you again," she mumbled as she looked at Lola, her body seemed to pretty beaten up. She leaned over to Lola; her hands still laced in the necklace, and gave her a soft kiss on her forehead.

Then she softly shook her head as she rested her own forehead against Lola's and sighed, "I just want to go home."

Lola could feel before she could see, she could feel everything from the past week that hurt her attack her at once. She felt like a bow constrictor had wrapped itself around her neck, her arm and leg were thumping with her heartbeat in pain, and her whole body felt like it had its own collection of bruises and sores.

But what hurt most was the headache; it was behind her eyes so when she opened them to a bright light it caused her flinch.

She groaned as she rolled over on the surface she was lying on, she slowly opened her eyes as her hands scrunched a sheet she was lying on. Her body felt a jerk of surprise when she realised she was lying on a bed, she sat up a little too quickly and was overwhelmed by a dizzy spell.

Her eyes adjusted to the small light source hanging from the ceiling, at first she had no idea where she was. But she gasped and her whole body tensed up when she saw she was back in the attic of her house.

Lola swung her legs over the bed and stood up, then all the pain seemed to seep through the floor. When Lola managed to stand up, her legs were wobbly by the fact that she no longer had any pain to deal with. She looked at her arms and legs, any and all bruises had disappeared, she looked at her arm and leg that had been infected by the Angels... they were nothing but a light scar.

She scoffed in amazement as she ran her fingers down the vertical scars, they were a little sensitive, but she could barely feel it. She laughed as she walked around and spun, she felt no pain.

Lola looked outside and saw the soft light of the early morning. Lola walked slowly over to the window of the attic and managed another smile as she was reassured that she was actually at her home.

She took in a deep breath of the soothing stale air and sighed, but eventually she gasped in sudden fear at remembering how she black out in the first place. She touched her neck and felt around for some sort of bruise or lumps around her neck where she had been choked. But instead felt the rough surface of a thin rope, she looked down at her neck and pulled at the string, it wasn't terribly long, but she could see what was on the end of the thin, scratchy string.
