One week later

“How long?” I asking biting the bullet, Lou looked at me hesitant before looking off into the distance. He always avoided eye contact when it came to serious questions.

“A couple of weeks. He smiled cheekily, again looking me in the eye. I just had to laugh he was scared of my reaction I knew that for a fact.

“Weeks? Wow I though you meant months.” I sighed with relief, in case you hadn’t guessed yet, the boys were going on tour AGAIN and I was going to be stuck at home with two babies by myself.

“Well the nanny can come and stay here I was thinking, and maybe Penny?” he asked hopefully.

“The who now?” my jaw gaped open. Did he just say the nanny was moving in? When did I agree to this?

“The nanny, remember the one you hired not too long ago.” He chuckled, shaking his head at me.

“Right her…” I said grumpily as I sunk back into my chair, why’d she have to move in? I’d rather stay here by myself with my boys than share a house with someone I don’t even know.

“Babe, it will be fine.” He assured me, still amused by my displeasure. I had to admit if it were him acting like me, I would be laughing also.

“Yeah, yeah that’s what they all say.” I told him with my arms crossed and my eyes rolling.

*-*-*

“I love you.” I told him, a he and the other boys were all loading their gear into the SUV, Penny and I were both saying our goodbyes, the boys were resting in the pram. I hadn’t realised how much I was going to miss him until now.

“I love you too.” He assured me, kissing my lips tenderly looking into my eyes with his. I stared into them wondering how long it would take until I could stare into them again. Tears welled up in my eyes I don’t know what was going on with me lately so many emotions growing throughout of me.

“I will be calling and texting you all the time, stop crying.” He laughed wiping the tears from my cheeks. I smiled sweetly laughing at myself.

“I’m sorry.” I muttered, quite embarrassed that even Penny who was 8 months pregnant wasn’t blubbering like I was.

“It’s fine love.” He cooed, holding me closer to him, I snuck a look over to Penny who had her husband doing the same to her, although he was talking to her stomach which I was glad Lou hadn’t been doing to me. If he was doing it to me he would have only been talking to my breakfast.

“Right, hurry up.” Harry called from the car. The last of the bags had been shoved in the boot and everyone else without wives was waiting patiently against the car.

“Hold your horses!” Lou yelled at him, and started kissing me all over.

“I love you.” He repeated between kisses, my heart flustered inside my chest as he did so.

“Come on we really have to go.” Liam called finally and I knew this was the last kiss.

“I’ll call you later.” He promised as he let go, Niall and Penny were having one last embrace, as Lou went over to kiss his boys.

“See ya soon.” Liam hugged me, and so did the other boys.

“Bye guys!” we called out to them as we watched the car speed out of our front gates, I turned towards Penny who looked quite lost.

“So, let’s take you inside then.” I said to her once the car was completely out of sight.

“I miss them.” She sighed, and I did too.

“They’ll be back soon, and by then the baby will be here and he won’t leave your side.” I promised.

My phone started to vibrate from inside my pockets I took the thing out and smiled when I saw what was on the screen.

‘Miss you already.’ Lou wrote.
