Jay’s P.O.V

The boys were coming over for Dinner, the boys had been back for almost a week and I decided that I would like to catch up with the boys since well we haven’t all been in the same country for quite a while let alone the same room which wasn’t filled with fans.

Rebecca at first wasn’t going to stay but I twisted her arm slightly.

“You have to stay.” I pleaded and she looked at me sheepishly.

“Fine, but I’ll just keep an eye on the boys.” She smiled and turned back to the dishes.

“No way, they’ll be in bed by then anyway, come on please say you’ll have dinner with us!”

“Okay Jay I will have dinner with you and One Direction.” She laughed.

“YAY! Now I’ll go and print you out a dinner place card.” I told her and quickly turned to leave the room.

“Jay its dinner with us not the Queen.” Louis joked walking past me. He must have been listening in.

“I know!” I called as I left.

I admit I was a little worried about having Liam here, he still hasn’t confessed anything about him and Tamy and I promised Louis I wouldn’t mention it in front of everyone but hey maybe I didn’t have to. Harry might accidently mention it.

Harry had really been competing with Liam for the best friend role ever since we’d moved over here. Without Lila for company I guess it was sort of comforting despite Louis’ discomfort over the situation.

I really missed Lila, and the whole Hollywood scene, it was my home just as much as Sydney was to me. It kind of felt as though London was just a big holiday, and one day I would just go back to America and life would continue on as we all knew it would.

But the reality of it was that Louis had made me leave there, I was over here in this amazing city for him and not for me. I didn’t want to feel this way, don’t get me wrong London and England is amazing really. (Yes I am aware that London is in England.) It just wasn’t me. I thought that once I’d landed a job everything would be fine, and I hoped that would be the case. I just needed the right job.

I quickly printed out Rebecca’s name tag and headed towards the downstairs living room, did I ever mention that our house is three stories high? It’s just we don’t use the third floor much seeing as how we have all those rooms in the second and third floor anyway. We were saving it for when we had visitors, most likely my parents or his or whoever wanted to stay here long term really. Even Rebecca’s room was downstairs. It was probably filled with ghosts or something –if you believe in that sort of thing.

Now I was left with a decision. I had to figure out the seating arrangement. It was obvious to put Niall and Penny beside each other, I even reserved a space for them to put the pram in case they needed the baby between them. I am a smart cookie aren’t I?

Now I was placing Louis next to Harry on the other side of Penny and Niall, so that I could sit next to Liam and hopefully get the information from him. Zayn was going on the other side of me, because let’s face it I like his company. I hoped he didn’t mind sitting next to Rebecca, she was a nice girl, single and whatnot. I wonder if he’s looking for a new girlfriend? He hasn’t had much luck in that department lately I mean first Ashley and then Jelena? So glad that he left her behind after the wedding!

I suddenly had a genius Idea to sit Rebecca next to Liam maybe they’d pull it off and he’d back off my poor little sister!

Louis walked in just as I was placing Zayn’s name beside mine. He gave me a look that I couldn’t understand.
