The Birthday part Four

"Happy Birthday to you," Harry started off the birthday song, and we all started singing along. Nick was sitting in Harry's lap, the pair of them had been getting close lately, it was quite cute actually. Harry had stopped worrying about Lila and started to focus on having fun with the boys and little Lola.

"This is all for you!" I told little Connor who was looking around the room at the sea of faces that were all staring down at him and his brother.

"Awwey." He chatted away in baby talk to his favourite uncle.

"She's right kid." Harry told him, and gave his little tummy a tickle. Lila was staring at us with the twins, she couldn't possible think that Harry and I had something going on after all this time could she?

"Bring out the cake!" Louis shouted and scooped the kid out of my arms. I always suspected that Lou and Connor would be closer as they both got older, but now I was scared that Nick and Harry would be the close ones, who was I going to have in my old age?

"What kind of cake did you get?" Penny asked me with a smile. Lola was now playing with Zayn they looked so adorable together it was the cutest thing. I knew he's one day become a great dad. They all would. Even Liam I hated to admit.

"Just a French chocolate," I told her, everybody liked chocolate even one year old boys who have never had cake before would love it.

"Oh yum." She nodded her head.

"I thought it was the safest bet."

"Chocolate always is." She agreed.

"Jay" Rebecca whispered and I nodded towards the kitchen. It seemed like everyone wanted a private chat with me today.

"So Harry and Lila used to date." She asked straight away.

"Yeah" I told her thinking nothing of it.

"She's the one who was on your show right?" she asked and I nodded.

"So do you think she's going to make things awkward?" she asked, looking a little nervous.

"No I don't think so. They ended on a bad note, she's moved on. I promised hoping that I knew what I was talking about.

"Okay thanks. I've been a bit worried, ever since she's showed up he's been acting funny!" she sighed with relief.

"No, he's just unsure of how to act having you and her both here."

"Makes sense." She was smiling now, which made me feel a little better.

"Now go and show him you're still into him!" I pushed her back out of the kitchen and watched as she went straight up to him and wrapped her arm around his.
