By the end of the day, your group finally made it to Lady Akiko's hometown, known as Kōcha-mura. She led you straight to her home which happened to be a large fortress-like castle. She offered you all to stay the night, and of course you accepted. After a delicious dinner, she led you all to your rooms.
"Since this is a castle, you can all have your own rooms! And don't worry about protecting me, my personal guards will keep me safe. Consider yourselves guests in my humble abode." She joked lightly. "This is our guest wing, you will all be staying in this section. Girls on one side of the hall, guys on the other."
She gestured to the sliding shoji doors on either side of the corridor.
"Sakura, this will be your room." Lady Akiko slid the door open, gesturing for her to enter. It was a large chamber with a tatami floor and wide windows. A soft futon lay in the center of the room, delicate designs sewn onto it.
Sakura seemed happy with her room, quickly ushering everyone out before sliding the door shut.
"Someone's been looking forward to some alone time." You teased the pinkette before she shut the door.
She rolled her eyes. "Oh shut up, I know you've been wanting some too." Before you could reply, she shut the door in your face.
"Rude." You grumbled to yourself.
"(Y/N), your room is next to Sakura's. Boys, you have these three." Lady Akiko pointed to three doors across the hall from Sakura and yours. Naruto seemed thrilled, immediately claiming a room and shutting the door behind him. Sasuke shuffled into his own room, probably adamant on some alone time like Sakura had been. Kakashi started to walk toward his, but Aki grabbed him by the sleeve.
"Kakashi... I've been meaning to talk to you. Will you come with me?"
This was it. If he went with her, there was a possibility he wouldn't return to his chambers for the night.
You clenched a fist, letting loose a small growl. The others turned to you in concern.
"You okay, (Y/N)?" Kakashi asked. You smiled at him reassuringly.
"Yeah... I was just clearing my throat. I'm heading to bed now, you two have a good night now."
Lady Akiko seemed to have taken it the wrong way, blushing at your words.
You rolled your eyes, sliding your door open. "Good night now!" Without waiting for a response, you shut the door behind you, finding yourself in a large chamber identical to Sakura's.
A side door led into a bathroom, fitted with a toilet, sink, and shower. You peeled off your clothes, soaking in the warm water as you forced your mind to go blank. You didn't want to think about what Lady Akiko and Kakashi were doing in that very moment.
When scorching hot water didn't help to clear your mind, you switched to banging your head against the wall. Then you pulled your hood off, staring yourself down in the bathroom mirror, slapping your face lightly.
"Stop thinking. Stop thinking. Stop thinking."
You groaned as it didn't work, walking back into the main room and collapsing on your futon. Your hood was still off, seeing as your hair was soaking wet. You laid a towel out on your pillow to avoid getting it wet. You turned off all the lights in your room, sighing in relief as darkness enveloped you. As you laid in the dark, trying to fall asleep, horrible thoughts began to enter your mind again.
What if they were doing it? What if Kakashi was in love with her? What if she got pregnant? What if he decided to stay in the Land of Tea with her? Would he really give up his life to start a new one with Lady Akiko? She was beautiful inside and out, of course he would! Or would he?
