"Ugh... I am so tired..." You collapsed on one of your hotel rooms' beds as soon as you made it in. Sakura closed the door behind her, plopping down on the bed across from yours. "Thank goodness there are only two of us. The boys are probably drawing straws on who gets the beds."

"Yeah, lucky us." You sighed in relief as you felt yourself already nodding off. It wasn't that late yet, probably around five in the evening.

"(Y/N)-sensei, shouldn't we find some food?" The pinkette asked before you could doze off.

You sat up, rolling your neck. "I guess. Do we know if the 'Suna Administration' will pay for the food services here?"

The girl shrugged. "I don't see why not?"

You laid back down, waving your hand at Sakura. "Would you be a dear and go find out? Ask for a big meal and lots of water." The girl gave you a look. "Please." You added quickly.

She rolled her eyes, standing up and walking to the door. "Lucky you I'm desperate enough to go searching for some food. Otherwise, I would have said no."

You blew Sakura a kiss as she left the room. "Love you, sweet darling daughter! You're the best!"

As the door closed behind the pinkette, you heard her scoff. You smiled to yourself, rolling onto your side as you settled in.

About five minutes later, a knock sounded from the door. You assumed it was Sakura, back with either food or no food.

You got up to open the door for her. "Hey, Sakura. That was a pretty quick trip considering that we're..." You trailed off as you realized that it was Kakashi standing in the threshold of your hotel room. "...three stories up..."

The man looked at you in amusement. "Not expecting to see me, were we?"

You shook you head. "I sent Sakura to go find food, I thought maybe she had returned."

The silver haired man nodded. "I sent the boys down to look for something to eat too. I thought I'd stop by to see if you or Sakura needed anything, I guess you've got it handled. Can I come in?"

You nodded, stepping to the side to let Kakashi inside. "Of course."

He walked into the room, analyzing the narrow beds and small window looking out at the village. "Lucky you two both get beds."

You closed the door, sitting back down on the edge of your bed. "And what about you? Who got the short straw this time?"

"Naruto."

"Of course it's Naruto." You smiled.

An awkward silence hung in the air for a moment.

"So... how are you feeling?" Kakashi asked.

"I'm fine." You said, leaning against the wall.

The silver haired man frowned. "Last time I checked, 'I'm fine' never means you're fine. (Y/N), are you okay?"

You shrugged. He was right, you weren't in your best mood. You felt guilty about lying to him earlier, about what happened to Sakura.

"Remember, you can tell me anything." Kakashi said, stepping closer to you. "If you ever need to talk, I'm here for you." He took another step.

You avoided his eyes, looking at the ground instead. "I know." You mumbled quietly.

"Hmmm? What was that?" He asked, taking another step toward you. You could hear the humor in his voice.

Before you knew it, he was pressing you against the wall, his mask pulled down as he leaned in close. "What was that you said?" He asked in a low husky voice.
