You woke up that morning before dawn, not being able to sleep once you remembered what had happened earlier that night. Of what you and Kakashi did. You blushed furiously, not sure what to do next. You decided you needed some fresh air, so you got out of bed, dressing and slipping out of your room.

You wandered through the halls of Lord Kocha's castle, Lady Akiko's father. It was a very old building, once used as a fortress centuries ago. Now, it bustled with servants, even in the early morning light.

No one paid you any mind, allowing you to roam freely with no questioning. You found your way to the inner courtyard, a green garden full of colorful flowers and blossoming trees. Birds sung from their branches, singing sweet songs to one another. The first few strands of morning light snuck through the trees, leaving little dancing golden patterns on the stoned path.

You inhaled deeply, savoring the smell of lavender and wet earth. You hoped that one day, when you retired from being a ninja, you could grow a beautiful garden like this one.

"Are they ready?" A low male voice whispered from several yards away.

You crouched down behind a large bush, peering over it to see two men talking to each other.

"Yes, we will wait for your signal from outside of the town." A man with long brown hair said. His dark haired companion gave a small smile.

"Good. The time has finally come for us to take back this castle. The Land of Tea will belong to its rightful rulers once again. Father will be pleased by this."

Your eyes widened in surprise. Were they planning a coup?

"Now go, get them ready. I will stay here to distract Lord Kōcha." The dark haired man commanded from the other. The brown haired male bowed to him before turning to leave. He must have been a subordinate. Then who was the dark haired guy?

You readjusted your position, accidentally brushing against the bush, the remaining male whipped his head towards your vicinity.

"Who's there?" He demanded. He began to make his was toward you and you swore silently under your breath. But before the man could find you, a child came running toward him.

"Daisuke! My papa said he wants to talk to you!" A small girl with a bob cut skipped toward the male. He regained his composure, kneeling down to get at the girl's level.

"Hello Ayako!" He pulled her into a hug before looking at her. "Did you say Lord Kōcha was looking for me?"

The girl nodded her head. "Yeah! He said to invite you to breakfast! He said that you should meet our guests from the Leaf Village."

You froze as you realized they were talking about you and your team.

The man patted the girl on the head gently. "Thank you Ayako. You are very helpful. Tell your father I will be there in a moment."

You took that as your cue to leave the courtyard, slipping into the shadows before this Daisuke guy could find you.

"Okay!" The girl said excitedly. She ran back inside, swinging her little blue dress back and forth.

So that must have been Lady Akiko's younger sister. You didn't know she had siblings, but then again, you had never asked. The man must have been a friend to their family, seeing as how Lord Kōcha had called for him and Ayako was so happy to see him.

"Who's there?" The dark haired male demanded again. He went around the bushes to your hiding spot, only to find it empty.

You smirked from your new hiding spot in an alcove. The man's eyes darted around the garden suspiciously before he hesitantly went back inside.
