He's back and he wants Revenge

Chapter twelve

I sat in class listening to Mrs Obiajulu go on and on about how to write a narrative essay. We are having English language first then mathematics before we are allowed to go back to the hostel.

I adjusted in my seat, feeling so uncomfortable. I couldn't count the numbers of time I adjusted on my seat, I thought maybe adjusting would remove the sleep from my eyes. I groaned mentally, why did I take the pap they served in the dining hall and I even took extra. Normally the school pap makes you sleepy, together with this my unhealthy state, Mrs Obiajulu boring lesson, I need to find somewhere to sleep.

" Excuse me ma" I raised my hand.

She lowered her glasses and stared at me " yes Adesuwa"

" Ma, I need to go to the toilet, I'm pressed" I said coming up with a quick lie.

I kept my fingers crossed, Mrs Obiajulu is a strict but good teacher and she hardly ever allow students out of the class during her lesson, hopefully she'll permit me.

I waited patiently for her reply as she scrutinised me. She sighs and finally say

" You can go, you're one of my best students so I trust you"

I felt a little bad for breaking her trust. Curse my stupid conscience. I didn't want to disappoint her but this sleep is so much more important.

" Thank you ma" I replied and rushed out of the classroom before my good moral takes over.

I walked over to SS2 classrooms, since it is empty because of the inspection going on in the hostel. I was about to about to pass SS2B  when someone pulled me inside with hands covering my mouth. I began to struggle with the person but the person's grip on me was too firm.

" Would you stop struggling" I heard the voice say which I instantly recognise to be Kezz.

He shoved me to the wall and turned me to face him. I was trapped. My back to the wall while he stood in front of me with his right hand covering my mouth and the left hand holding my right hand. We are so close that I could literally feel his hot minty breath on my face.

" If I let go of you promise you won't scream" he stared directly into my eyes. It was hypnotic. His beauty was hypnotising so I nodded.

He slowly let his hand out of my mouth and dropped it but he didn't let go of my hand neither did his stare waver.

" Ummh... Kezz" I called as I tried to wiggle out of his grip.

He pulled out of his trance and removed his hands that were on my wrist and quickly shoved it into his pocket.

" Why did you pull me in here" I asked warily. Of course I still couldn't trust Kezz at all even after last night.

" You don't trust me"

I didn't reply, I just stared at him but kept distance between us.

He sighed and removed one of his hands from his pocket and ran it across his face. I corked a brow at him.

" I just wanted to know how you are feeling" he said

I was confused as to why he cared but I reply anyways " I'm fine"

He breathed in and ran his hand on his face again. He looked anywhere but me.

" Kezz..." I called cautiously " what happened"

He scratched the back of his head as he spoke " I...I " he stuttered and then huffed angrily at himself, muttering something to himself as he walked to the back of the classroom, he picked up a blanket and brought it to me.

I raised a brow at him questioninglyly.

" For you" he said

" Where did you get it from? Why is there a blanket in the classroom?"

" You looked sleepy in the dining hall and you drank three cups of pap. I knew you'd be feeling so sleepy so I went back to the hostel to get you my blanket"

That was so sweet

All this while he spoke without raising his head.

" How did you know I'll leave class and come here" I questioned

" I just guessed. You drank three cups of pap, you didn't sleep well last night and a boring teacher that's a recipe for a good night sleep."

I still didn't look convinced.

" Do you want the blanket or not" he asked sharply still avoiding eye contact.

He is shy!

" Are you shy?"

His eyes widened at my accusations " n...no I'm not" he stuttered

I chuckled " the almighty Kezz is shy" I mocked

" Fine, I'm taking my blanket back if you're just going to mock me"

" No please don't. I'm sorry" I collected the blanket " thanks"

He smiled.I noticed I couldn't just lay his blanket on the floor as it is dirty.

" Kezz" I called getting his attention " I can't just lay your blanket on the floor. It will get dirty"

" Don't worry about that" he collected the blanket and folded in two to make it more comfy then he laid it on the ground " here, come" he tapped on the blanket.

I laid on it too, I adjusted and laid on my side so I was facing him.

" Don't worry, you can sleep when second period is over I'll wake you up"

I nodded. " Kezz, why did you get the blanket for me"

He paused thinking then he replied " I felt responsible for you not sleeping last night, I wanted to thank you for last night"

" Thanks Kezz " I smiled.

" You're welcome Adesuwa"

I closed my eyes after his words and slowly went into dream land.

I swatted my hand on my legs and snuggled deep into the warm embrace. I felt someone tap me again, I wondered who it was. I shifted my leg and snuggled...wait, I instantly opened my eyes same time Kezz did. We stared into each others eyes, if Kezz was asleep and I was snuggled in his embrace then who tapped me. My eyes widened with alarm same time with Kezz. We immediately pulled away from each other and looked to our front.

Nosa stood in front of us with his hands in his pocket and his eyes full with disbelief and surprise.

" Ummh..." We both stammered and stared at each other. I quickly got up from his blanket and Kezz followed suit.

Nosa just watched us with a small smirk that was starting to form.

" What's going on here" he asked smugly

" Nothing"

" It's not what it looks like"

We both said at these same time, we stared at each other again, I had to leave this place before Nosa assumptions escalate.

" I have to go" I hurriedly walked out of the classroom leaving Kezz to face Nosa interrogation alone.

Did I just sleep with Kezz for the second time! What the hell!!!
