Adesuwa POV
Twas the beginning of second term as usual students bidding their parents goodbye, dragging boxes and checking in. This term was going to be different, I felt it immediately I stepped my feet in the school premises.
I wondered where my friends were, Kezz had been a little distant since the party same with Tony and the party.....it was....a bit foggy, the details of everything that happened there, I couldn't remember any, I just remember Tony dropping me off...well not that I remembered, Efosa told me so.
As I walked further into the school, I wondered why students gave me curious looks, some faces were filled with disbelief, some utter disappointment, some snare and some mocking laughter.
Earlier I had checked in with the house mistress and had summited all the things required like detergents, harpic, detol and other stuff. I was sick and tired of the face other students were giving me but I was also curious.
"Adesuwa" Chioma called surprised to see me
"Finally!!" I rushed towards her and pulled her into a hug "I've been looking for any of you guys like forever"
Chioma had a strange look on her face, like she was worried and shocked at my presence.
"You're in school?" Her brows creased as she looked at me
"Duhh!! It's resumption and I'm the head girl, what do you expect"
"Are you okay?" Chioma sounded genuinely concerned as she studied me
I frowned "okaaay, I don't get what's happening?"
"You don't know?"
"Know what?" I panicked as I wondered why Chioma of all people was acting like this.
She shook her head with her lips in a straight line " I can't say it. Here" she brought out her phone and opened her MX player, she tapped on a video and it began to play.
As I started to watch the video, dread slowly began to creep in....this was the night of Kezz party. I watched as I threw myself on Kezz begging him to sleep with me, I actually started unbuttoning his shirt and I heard background laughters, one I could clearly recognize as Bayo's own.
I watched the rest of the video that was filled with moans and groans.....I felt tears threaten to spill as I watched the person I love take advantage of me, sleep with me. When he was done he buckled his belt, his face was cut out of the video but I knew who it was.... I was hundred percent sure of the person. The video lingered on my naked body for a long while before it went of.
The tears that threatened to spill came out as I couldn't hold it back. How many people has seen this?
"I thought you knew" Chioma said with a pitied smile
Words, I couldn't form anyone, now I understood the looks I've been getting since I stepped my feet inside the school. Some group of girls passed us and I heard their talk, the weren't even trying to be subtle.
"I can't believe she's not virgin" the one on all back hair said
The fair one slapped the other girls shoulder lightly " she's has never been a virgin since birth, this girl is a typical example of an ashawo, slut" the girl slowed down her step " have you not notice how she has been parading herself around because she managed to get Tony and Kezz to notice her....I wonder sef what Kezz would do, poor boy has seen the video and is hurt"
I gritted my teeth as I listened to them gossip about me like I wasn't standing a few inch behind them. The grip on my box tightned as I heard the next word from the same girl
" I even heard she's been sleeping around with many guys even that Tony and his friends, she even tried to seduce Saif but he resisted"
"You dey mad!!" Before I could react and escape from there, Chioma charged at them " e be like say big nut don comot from your brain" she said as she angrily stalked towards them.
" Oh so her dog decides to stand up for her...." The fair girl fired, while another girl who was standing with them tried to control the situation.
"Aswear..." Before Chioma could launch herself on the girl, a strong arm tightned on her waist, Joshua.
"Calm down" Josh whispered softly into her ears but everyone present could hear it.
"Who do you think you are?" Justice asked with fury as he blocked my view from her.
"Between you and her, who's the slut Jamila? " Josh faced the fair girl "Should I remind you of the boys you've slept with in our set, the set before us and even our juniors" he corked his brows at her when her face flushed red, maybe from anger or embarrassment.
"Or maybe how you tried your way with me?" Justice pinched out
"I..I..." Jamila huffed " Zainab, Tolu, abeg let's go jor" she said and left but not before throwing us a deadly glare.
"Are you okay" Justice turned towards me with a sympathetic look, I think that was the last straw I had and I broke into tears as he pulled me to his hands.
" Adesuwa, you're stronger than this, than anybody in this school" Chioma tried to comfort me but it was hopeless because I was hopeless.
"Adesuwa, remember we are here for you, all of us" Josh said.
I wished I could go back home but it was impossible as it was already late and my parents had gotten home already. I wished I never fell for Kezz, I wish I never fell for his tricks, I wish I never started this in the first place, I wish I never sent him on suspension, I wish I never came to Premier model school.
