Did he come after me? Why didn't he come after me? Those were the questions that ran through my mind the previous night and its still running through my mind.

It's a bright Sunday morning, the weather was very cold and the mountains were covered in a light fog, the grasses and trees were wet with the morning dew it seemed like harmattan had made its first arrival deeply known but this year it came late, November was already coming to an end. Students wore cardigans due to the cold as the walked with folded arms or hands tucked in their pockets.

Looking ahead of me, the road looked like a sea of angels except for the colourful cardigans some students wore. We are dressed in our Sunday white, what Christians wear on Sundays. Girls, a straight plain white gown, boys, a short hand white shirt and white trouser while Muslims are dressed in their MSS white, both boys and girls kaftan.

I entered the dinning hall with Tina and Chioma, of course what happened yesterday wouldn't destroy our friendship. The aroma of freshly baked bread wafted through my nose. I inhaled deeply loving the smell that occupied the dinning. Breakfast today is tea, bread and boiled egg.

We went straight to our table and sat down, we greeted each other and they began to gist.

"Hey " Tony whispered

I hmm not taking my eyes off the novel I was reading.

"Adesuwa, about last night..."

I cut him off, closing my book " I'm sorry. I was angry and I took it out on you. It wasn't intentional" I apologised

"It's okay, you actually looked nice in your hello kitty nightie" he grinned

My grin matched his " are you complimenting me

"What do you think?" He chuckled

I shook my head. Unbelievable, the Tony I knew at the beginning of the term wouldn't even smile at any one but this one sitting beside me was a different one.

"You've changed"

He frowned " good or bad way?"

I smiled " in a good way and I like this side of you"

"I'm glad you do" he said picking out an imaginary dirt from my tightly packed bun.

"Me, I don't understand ooo" Chioma said loud enough  for the four of us on the table to hear. I think the whole table on our row heard her because they turned to our table. She didn't stop there when she noticed all eyes on our table.

"What's going on between the two of you" she threw her question at us.

I choked on my breath, coughing as Tony pat my back since he was sitting next to me.

"You see what I'm talking about" her voice still loud.

"Chioma" Tina hissed and then she noticed everyone's attention was on our table. She smiled sheepishly and lowered her voice.

"You guys have been all lovey dovey  recently"

"Chioma why don't you mind your own business and nothing is going on between Adesuwa and I "  Tony was clearly pissed as he spoke.

Chioma was about to retort when a staff walked in and said the prayers. Breakfast was short and Chioma didn't bring the topic up again _thank God.

I was eager to see Kezz but I also felt worried, what if he didn't want to speak to me after what happened yesterday, I shook the thought out of my head. I didn't want the thought to bring me down.
