" Adesuwa" I heard Kezz call. I stopped and waited for him to catch up with me.

" Would you be coming for social night today?"

I shook my head " I don't attend social night"

" Oh" his face fell " alright, bye" he walked back to the classroom.

I meet Tony and Chioma on my way to class.

"Hey" I greeted

Chioma handed my school bag over to me. " Where you go?" ( Where are you coming from)

" SS2 block" I answered as I joined them.

" Doing what" Tony asked.

What's up with all the interrogation? " I went to sleep there"

He nodded with a straight face.

We were about to pass SS2 block when I sighted Nosa and Kezz coming out of there. I stilled, I didn't want Chioma or Tony to see them.

" Is that not Nosa and Kezz" chioma inquired. I closed my eyes why? " What are they doing together most importantly why are the coming out from SS2 block?"

Tony and Chioma turned to me almost immediately.

" Why are you guys staring at me? How should I know" I shrugged it off and pretended not to feel Tony piercing gaze.

It was time for night dinning, I was so happy, happy was an understatement, I've been so hungry but I was too lazy to go for lunch which was semovita and egusi soup.

I left the hostel with Tina and Chioma. The road to the dinning hall was so congested, why? Because it's white rice and fish stew. No one misses Saturday night dinning, Sunday afternoon which is jollof rice and chicken and Monday night which is rice and beans with stew and fish.

We got to the dinning hall which was so rowdy and noisy, the prayers were said quickly and I rushed my food like a hungry lion. I looked at Kezz table when I was full, instead of meeting with the usual brown eyes that I'm starting to get use to, I met with a stricken blue eyes, Saifan.

Saifan is the most conservative, introverted person in the group and the most breathtaking, the most handsome, and the cutest with his natural glowing fair skin, small baby pink lips and his dark curly hair which always looks like it's gelled. Kezz is a handsome guy in fact all of them are walking Greek gods but Saifan stands out. Saifan is a half cast, half Arabian half Nigerian. I heard he stays with his mom in lekki, Lagos state but has a house in Maitama where he goes for midterm break. I also heard that after his SS3 he'll be moving back to Arab.

The most shocking and intriguing part of Saif is being a bookworm. All this feature makes girls go gaga for him. In SS1, SS2 he was rated the most wanted guy by all girls both senior and junior in premier model and I'm so sure this SS3 the award still belongs to him. The most funny part in this my short story, he has never payed attention or looked at any girl twice especially those who throw themselves at him.

We stared at each other for a while finally he let out a small smile which was really captivating. I was astonished did Saif just smile at me? Bayo, Naomi and Nosa turned immediately to see who Saif just smiled at, I immediately ducked my head.

" What happened" Tina asked and turned to meet four piercing gaze " why are the staring at our table?"

" Who" Chioma asked

" Bayo and co"

This got everyone's attention on the table, they immediately looked towards Kezz table, I could feel a stare off competition between the two tables and a very heated one.

I was so glad when a staff walked in and said the prayers signalling dinner over. Saifan said something to them and they all nodded, removed their stares and left the hall.

" I still can't believe this" Tina awed for the umpteenth time this night.

When we got to the hostel after dinner everyone was dressing up to go for social night and I told Tina I was coming with her. First of all, she bursted out laughing, she shook her head and turned back to picking an outfit for social night. I had to repeat myself three times before she told me and I quote.

" I'll only believe you when I see you in multi purpose hall"

So here I am in the multi purpose hall wearing a hello kitty night wear.

" I'm here"

" I know" she eyed me from head to toe finally getting over her awed state which is now replaced with a wtf look " wearing a hello kitty night wear"

" What's wrong" I questioned staring at my cloth.

" Whoa!! What is Adesuwa doing here and why is she dressed up like she's ready for bed" Chioma asked as she met up with us.

Tina gave me the I told you so look.

" it's social night, a party not a sleep over. Arrgh" she faced palmed herself " if I had known you were serious, I would have dressed you up myself"

I stared at what she was wearing, a black Jean bum short and a sleeveless pink polka dot crop top.

I shook my head " I'm not wearing that" I pointed at her cloth " or that" pointing at Chioma cloth.

Chioma was dressed in a mini stripe black and white skirt and a red deep v neck singlet that cling to her body.

" At least you should have worn a Jean trouser" Tina whined

" Whoa!! Why are you dressed like it's a sleepover party" Josh chuckled as he walked up to us with Tony by his side. Tina and Chioma gave me a pointed look, I groaned loudly and turned to Tony

" Do you have anything to say too?"

I was sick of everyone judging my outfit, I choose to dress how I like. I stormed out of their presence in annoyance and went into one of the rooms in the hall.
