I like listening to music while I write. I was listening to this song and I thought I could use that idea. I added a little more to the end but other than that it's like the song. This is my first song fic. I hope you enjoy! Also I'm sorry this is short.

He should be here, you thought. You said you'd be here.

Your family, like always, was having a Christmas party. You invited your boyfriend, Dally, but he hasn't shown up yet. All of your family and friends were there. They were laughing and having a good time. They didn't know you were breaking inside.

He's just late. Maybe he got held up.

He said he'd be here. You believed that.

15 more minutes pass. 30 minutes. That was when you knew he wasn't coming. He can't be this late. You told him the time to come. You expected him to be maybe a few minutes late but not an hour.

Hours pass by. Everyone was leaving, but they were still laughing like before. You couldn't take it anymore. You ran to the bathroom as the tears streamed down your face. You tried hard not to cry, but you couldn't hold back the tears.

You heard footsteps down the hallway and a knock on the door. "(Y/N), are you okay?"

"He said he'd be here. He told me he'd come."

You looked at yourself in the mirror. You had on a beautiful dress and red lipstick. You wanted to look nice for him. You wanted him here.

Later that night you got a call. You picked up the phone and heard his voice. "Hey, I'm sorry I couldn't make it. I really am."

"I'm sorry too." You hung up. You didn't want to hear anymore. You knew he would try to apologize. You didn't want to forgive him. Not yet.

A little while later you heard a knock on your window. You looked up and seen Dallas sitting there. You opened the window and looked at him. You weren't happy, you weren't sad, you were angry.

"I brought you something," Dally said, holding up the bag.

"Okay. Leave." You took the present and shut your window and moved your curtains in front of it.

You opened the bag. There was a charm bracelet inside, a teddy bear, and a note. You opened the note. The first words you read were I'm sorry.
