Chapter 16: Eric Attacks! Great Escape from Warship Island!

Apis looks over at Grandpa Ryu and giggles. "They're so in love~"

The next day, you and Luffy had climbed back down the mountain, and went to tell the other the news about Grandpa Ryu. "Hey everyone! This is so cool!" Luffy says ready to announce about Grandpa Ryu, only to see everyone asleep. Except, Grandpa Bokuden was still telling the story in his sleep. "And the 1,201st king was......"

"Still going on, huh?" Luffy goes over to Usopp, and bursts his bubble, literally. It makes a large popping noise, causing you to jump. You didn't get very much sleep last night, considering you were in a cave, and had to climb back down afterwards. "Hey listen to me. I have something to tell you."

Usopp was startled by this as well as he shoots up, screaming. "GYAH!" Zoro stirs, waking up. "What? Is it morning already?" Zoro looks down where you were supposed to be, in his arms, then looks up to see you near Luffy. He looks back and forth a couple of times, then gets mad. "Where did you go?!"

"You just noticed I was gone?!"

"I'm a heavy sleeper! Besides, you tried to be sneaky!"

"I did not!"

"Did too!"

"Did not!"

"Did too!"

"SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!"

Nami smacks you and Zoro on the head. "IT'S TOO EARLY FOR THIS!!" Sanji is the last to wake up. "Man, that old man's story was so long I fell asleep...Sorry Nami-swan."

"You're forgiven this time Sanji-kun. Next time, don't you dare fall asleep!"

"Yes Nami-swan~!!"

Nami then notices you were with Luffy, and grabbing you by the shoulders, starts to shake you around furiously like a rag doll. "Y/NNN!!!! How dare you run off with Luffy and leave me here?! You are so gonna pay for this later do you hear me?! I am never gonna forgive you ever!!!"

"Okay, okay! I get it! But, I didn't know I was going to be gone that long! So lay off!" you yell back, feeling dizzy. Nami is going to scold you more, but one of the villagers barge in. "We have a problem Bokuden-san! Where's Apis?!"

"The Navy fleet started blocking the harbor!" You and Nami instantly stop fighting. "What?! They'd go that far for her......?"

"Why are they after a girl like her?" Usopp asks, the question that was on everyone's mind. "Guys come with me!" "Of course y/n-chan~!"

"What do we do with the old man?" Usopp asks, only for Zoro to start dragging him away. "He's sound asleep. We should just let him be."

Nami faces the villager that gave them the news. "When Bokuden-san wakes up, tell him that we'll protect Apis."

"O-Of course."

Zoro POV:

'Well.......the Millennial Dragon does exist.'

Y/n and Luffy lead us to a cave, where Curly Eyebrows, Usopp, Nami and I stand, wide with shock at the large dragon. Apis crawls down from the head. "Hi everyone!"

"This is the Millennial Dragon Grandpa Bokuden was talking about." y/n says. "See?! It's so cool, right Y/n?!" "Stop talking like he's yours!" Nami yells.

Usopp literally has his jaw dropped to the floor. "I-I-I-Is he really h-h-h-h-harmless?!" Grandpa Ryu gets closer to Usopp, and licks him on the face with his large tongue. "Oh yeah, he can be senile sometimes. So if he treats you like food, get away!"
